I think it's the fact that these big factory farms that are cashing in on the organic industry without being true organic. Of course they are allowed to get in on the market. It's the integrity behind these factory farms... and most of them seem to have poor products that claim it's just as organic as the local farmers. Integrity people.

I'm sure there are non organic farmers out there that produce very high quality, ecological, humane food. but how is a consumer to know that unless he is to visit the farm and ascertain it for himself. That's what organic certification supposed to do (but apparently not).

You want the government to regulate a producers size? That's communism!!!!!!!! Consumers will not pay more than $5/gal for milk. $500/cow/yr profit is the best a dairyfarmer can do.
