Bottom line is this my friends. The song was composed by and sung by two christians. And the song was written by a tamil gentleman, by the name of Vinayagaratnam.

I being a sinhala buddhist loved this song. There was never a question of ethnicity or religion when it came to taste of art.

Nimal mendis is the composer?? he only did the music! he is a musician!! song is not a translation either, those are original & own words by great lyricist(composer) Augustus Vinyagaratne. The song was awarded for Sarasavi & President awards for lyrics in 1980s. So don't try to comment with having a poor knowledge..when everyone knows the real facts.
