and almost all the women are hideous( the ones with major parts) except ms. tilney i think they just ruined my favorite book and further more i feel as though they owe me money for watching it

This is the most ridiculous rendition of this novel. The makeup and hairstyles are like in the 1980's instead of 1800's. Mr. Tilney is too old and effeminate and not handsome at all. The acting is very exaggerated and there are too many changes of the original story. I just cannot finish watching this rubbish. Too absurd and an offense to Miss Austen's work.

I really tried to like this version but it was just too painful. The nose, the horrible singing, the little boy that takes her hand for what reason I can't figure out, the ugly, ugly woman, the sick sweetness of Miss Thorpe and the forceful brother, the balding Mr. Tilney who is far too mature for Catherine, etc. etc.etc. Whoever made this should have paid off my student loans instead! YUK
