this vid pretty much sums up my first year of driving into 9 minutes and 30 seconds. Most of it was done in a 89 Astro van, but I put 20k miles on my 91 Z28 in the first 10 months I had it just cruisin around. Always liked the early 70s Chevelles. All the tuner guys are all about the numbers and not about the heart and the soul of an old school or modern V8 muscle car. Personally, a 1000 hp 9 sec 1970 Chevelle is less important than just owning a stock 70 Chevelle. But 1000 hp does sound nice ;)

btw after that first year i went to the Navy. When I came back, gas was jumping up to over 3 dollars so that curbed my long distance cruises lol. And don't get me wrong I love my Camaro even if its got the wimpy little 305 TPI. But I always wanted a early 70s Nova or Chevelle, something with a little more grit and stance than a 3rd gen F-body ya feel me?

Easily my favorite style of chevelle. Every time i think get away car, this car pops into my mind. And ill agree that Japanese and European cars of today can outperform and handle better than a muscle car. But the muscle car has an "IT" factor that just makes them bad ass. When your driving a muscle car u just feel like a bad ass.
