  • Germany as well as Japan were working on an atomic bomb just as we were. Do you think that if Japan had developed it first that they would have not dropped it on the U.S.. I am sure that the U.S. would have surrendered as they did not have the will as the Japanese did. Truman ordered the drops to end the war with less bloodshed as possible and it worked.

  • Now the cold war continues (techicaly it didn't end in 1990-1991), most and most countries are having the AB and making pressure with this awful weapon, and it doesn't surprise me that one day a fool psycotic will drop it somewhere in middle east or south asia. I pray that will never happen.

Everybody know now that with only a small bomb you could destroy a whole city or worse.

  • Burma Railway.....

  • US Atomic Bombs SAVED 100 times more Japanese civilians than they killed!

  • TO JAPANESE LEADERS,APOLOGIZE NOW AND PAY AUSTRALIA,ASIAN NEIGHBORING NATIONS, U.S.A.,THE PHILIPPINES,AND GREAT BRITAIN A TOTAL U.S. 700 BILLION DOLLARS SO THAT WE COULD ABORT OUR MISSION TO WIPE OUT JAPAN!! NOW!! OR YOU'LL REGET IT!!!

  • Japs killed 80 million civilians from 1905 to 1945. The Atomic bomb only killed a couple thousand civilians.

Look it up, bombing of darwin, bataan death march, nanking massacre, pearl harbor, unit 731. Then tell me the japs didn't deserve the bomb.

  • @CptQuestionMark

It was a mistake, it seems that US can't admit that to.

The number of japanese victims is about 30 millions during their occupation, which is already a lot.

The bomb was a very bad idea, not only because it killed about 300 000 million victims (don't forget all those who died later), but because it was one of th causes of the cold war, with the tragic consequences we know (2-3 millions death in corea, 4 millions in vietnam, 2 million in cambodgia and so on).

  • @CptQuestionMark How many victims of the atom bomb were party to the atrocities you listed? People killing other people who are out to kill people is one thing, but what America (and every other world power at the time except with conventional weapons) did is something entirely different.

  • I WANTED TO LET MY DOGS URINATE ON THE GRAVES OF THESE JAP CRIMINALS,INCLUDING TOJO, HIROHITO AND YAMAMOTO!!!

  • @p5rsiapino1 You forgot Shiro Iishii

  • TO ADD INJURY TO THE INSULT,THE PATRIOTIC SOVIET REPUPLIC ATTACK THE EVIL FORCES OF JAPAN IN MANCHURIA AT THE END OF WW2!! I WISH USSR OCCUPIED JAPAN TOO!! BUT I LOVE THE U.S. OF A!!URAHH!!

  • THE ATOMIC BOMBS THAT WERE DROPPED OVER JAPAN WAS ACTUALLY ONLY A SLAP ON THE WRIST!!! JAPAN DESERVES TO BE BOMB BY MORE POWERFUL WEAPON 10 TIMES GREATER THAN THAT OF ATOMIC!!

  • While the atomic bombs were horrifically cruel, the Japanese themselves weren't exactly nice people at the time. Look up Unit 731 and see what they were doing to living prisoners in Manchuria. It makes the Atomic bombings look compassionate in comparison. Unfortunately the Americans lost credibility when they gave immunity to the Japanese monsters in exchange for their medical records from 731 (WTF OVER). It's the past though. I think both countries are better off today anyway.

  • Everyone gets what it deserves.

  • We Americans didn't start WW2. Unfortunately after the war we started becoming the thing we hated. It took a long time. Now however we are exactly the thing we struggled against. We are an oppressor nation today not at all unlike Germany, Japan, or Britain.

  • The Japanese Imperialists considered the Americans a weak and cowardly people. They thought that if they could convince all the Japanese people to die rather than surrender the Americans would never make the sacrifices necessary to defeat them. Unfortunately they convinced the Americans that they would have to kill all the Japanese to win. Both were wrong. The Americans for ignorance. The Japanese Imperialist for evil. The Japanese people suffered for it.

  • Should have surrender when we gave them the chance. Shouldn't have raped and pillaged like animals in China. And most of all they shouldn't have fucked with pearl harbor. December 7 1941 a day that will live in infamy. inTheWindDonn it never ceases to amaze how people like you don't love and respect your country.

  • @umofou You are so, so clueless. Educate yourself by reading "The Final Secret of Pearl Harbor" by Rear Adm. Theobald, commander of the Pearl Harbor fleet, for a start.

  • Strange... the Japanese weren't so concerned about cruelty or desecration in China, Korea, the Philippines, or with any POW's. Nagasaki and Hiroshima can be justified—the invasion of Japan would have cost more lives on both sides to bring about the same result. To any Japanese who bitch about the atomic bombs: You killed more people in Nanking than the atomic bombs did in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

  • If it wasnt just as simple as "sorry to see life despoiled" BUT IT'S NOT!!! Although the gentle and probably nice people of Hiroshima/Nagasaki did no harm to America, one must remember that NIPPON unleashed a cruel and sadistic horde onto the world. Wherever they went, agony and atrocity were unrelenting and there was no mercy, not even for the suckling babes that they horribly treated. The sobs of mothers only heightened their delight. So they paid dearly as a nation and won't do it again.

  • What about the honour of the 15 million men, women and children Japanese Army raped and slaughtered in Shanghai in 1936 ? What about the millions of Korean and Chinese women your fathers and grandfathers ''desecrated'' - I love the term!- during your occupation of Manchuria and Korea before and during WWll ? Imperial Japan got what it deserved nothing more nothing less.

  • @rolandcisco What does that mean? Japan's not a single conscious breathing entity.

Just like Bush in Iraq, the civilian population (many women and children) had fuck-all power to change the gov't.

I also like not BECOMING the enemy you're attempting to defeat.

I have no intention of getting into capricious youtube fights, and this is my first comment on this video, but your comment was strange-ass.

My best friend's mother survived Hiroshima, & gives great accounts on their peacefulness.

  • @TAz69x *gave; my best friend's mother passed away 2 years ago

She likened the Jap. civilian population, in her district particularly, as peaceful and nonviolent, unconcerned with ever fighting US troops.

They weren't brainwashed nor stupid, with Japanese Imperial propaganda at the time, and saw the B2's overhead many times before the bombing, some on consecutive days, thus thought nothing more on August 6th when she saw one in the distance (away from the epicenter), and continued working.

  • They had it coming the Japanese were the most violent and vicious people we fought during WWII. The U.S. should have kept bombing away for what they did to our POWS. 38% of our POWs did not survive the torture and violence of Jap camps compared to 11% in Germany. The people of Japan supported and helped the military fight and we ultimitly let them off easy. We let the Emperor remain a figure head instead of hanging him and we rebuilt the entire country.

  • If the Japanese were so worried about the honor of their women and children they should have seriously reconsidered their mindless drive toward war. Japan had already by that time occupied China for nearly a decade and Korea for five. What Japan could not buy on the market she took by force. Wiser heads in the Japanese government were assassinated or cowed into silence. Militarists and insane racist generals took over. The results hurt Japan and she has only HERSELF to blame.

  • @Bobesocks You must be a retard....a mindful person would realize that the "mindless drive toward war" was created by the Japanese Government and not the civilians. They were Imperialistic and NOT a Democratic Republic such as America. So what their Government said, went. Period. Just like the Nazis and Commies....all power in the government and NOT the PEOPLE. They controlled the people by tyranny and force, therefor it was not justified to nuke innocent civilians.

  • I wonder what the people of China and Korea would think of this video?

  • Comment removed

  • @AdamTerror, for starters, this wasn't an "atrocity" but a way of ending a bloody war that the Japanese themselves started. In addition, we didn't kill "a million innocent Iraqis" as you claim. You need to use your brains (what little you might have) and stop believing all the nonsensical crap shoveled your way by the left-wing kooks out there...

  • It's like those comfort women the IJA used for years.

  • The Japs have the most fucked up civilization in the history of the world...followed by Italy. They've not only warred with themselves for thousands of years but every other country around them too. I think WW2 changed the Japanese mindset for good.

  • A monopoly on death. Both sides, even those watching on the sidelines are to blame. Activists against these things need to be silent, and supporters of it need to be silent. Let us learn, grow and become better people. And remember how small we really are.

  • War is hell. Everyone is wrong when they speak of these things. War has always been he'll, and no one ever has a monopoly

  • mrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • Man, this is tremendous destruction. I hate to see people suffer like this and I hope that it never happens again. However, it is a cruel world, and I sure get tired of listening to these hippy liberals pretending that the uglyness of war is not a reality... They always claim to be SO educated but educated does not mean intelligent. People have been fighting long before you grew up in your middle class home, enrolled in fine arts acedemia, and applied for your coffee house job. War happens!

  • it never ceases to amaze me how ignorant our country's people are.

  • it never seems to amaze me how ignorant our country's people are.

  • This is horrible, obviously, but less horrible than what the Japanese did to the Chinese.

I'm glad this happened rather than my grandfather having to go house to house after fanatical soldiers sworn to serve a god-emperor.

  • Paybacks a bitch.

  • US troopers raped Japanese women,US troopers took babies out from pregnancy women, thrusted bamboo into womens...then US troopers killed these Japanese citizens including injury men and old aged and disabled by gasolin.

:The Saipan by Captain Tanaka 1956

  • @nozscrap yes. estimated 50 thousand Okinawans were raped or killed during the american occupation. its not our proudest moment. but its nothing compared to what the Japanese did to the Chinese, Filipinos, Singaporeans ext.

  • @nozscrap And the Japs killed raped and tortured men , women and children wherever they went. Nurses had their breasts cut off and rats put in their vagina's . Real peace loving people.

  • @semrausky Source please?

  • @maraffie1 The rape of Nan King ,Burma, Philippines, allthese places and more. Watch the video's and read some books about the Japanese atrocities during WW2. Sorry I don't have the names of the books I have read over the last 45 years. ae. Since High School. OK

  • @semrausky You must be speaking from reseached knowledge, then. There is so much evil in the world & in history, a person cannot keep up with it all. I could make a long list of things which I have delved into to find out the facts. Conclusion: Nothing would surprise me anymore. Growing up it was good guys & bad guys. Now I know better. The label 'good guys" cannot stop the individual who allows evil to rule them. I will look at some videos, but have no time to read books. Thanx for answering

  • @maraffie1 I must also say that the U.S. did have atrocities too! If you watch "The War" by Ken Burns it is told. and of course the vietnam war where civilians and captured Viet Cong were murdered. "Mia Lia" massacre. Sorry if that is not the correct spelling. Check on Wikipedia for Lieutenant Calley again spelling check. He was court Martialed for for giving the orders to kill civilians. Of course he was taking orders.

  • @semrausky I kind of remember the Viet Nam thing. Before the year is up I intend to do some research on ww.1 and 2, at least 1. I've only got bits and pieces through t.v. I have to find a site that gives the true "big picture" with out bogging down into too many details. Sort of like Google maps idea. Then you can get as detailed as you want. I hope to find a site like that, if there is one, concerning main world historical events. Thanks.

  • War is Hell - No matter who is fighting, moral behaviour & humane ideals do disappear during the war. After all, war is about killing, humiliating, desecrating, imprisoning and torturing your enemy. Families are shattered, dreams are destroyed, friends and loved ones disappear in a wisp of ash. The only ones who are safe are those of political influence and financial power.

For that reason it is best to stay at the table of peace and strive for an agreement BEFORE firing the first shot.

  • I love the music and the omnious note that the Japs were going to receive some long over due payback and the Jap that put this video togethers show how sneaky and ruthless the Japanese. You japs had it coming and you got and your stil bitchin those Americans Nuked vittle Jap Asses and we Jap laughed at them until Hiroshima + Nagasaki and then the Japs realized how evil they had been! Bombs away and we should have Nuke Tokyo fucking Hirofaghito the Homo Emporer!

  • they the japanase people deserve 100 more atomic bombs, for there crimes against humanity.

  • My grandfather fought in WWII and told me of the attrocities he saw committed by the barbaric Japs on the island people of the islands they occupied. They raped the women and molested the kids. Tortured and killed the men. Made them slaves. The ruthless Japs got their just desert in the fire bombing of Tokyo and the beautiful mushroom clouds marking the bombs of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. May we only hope that Iran and North Korea are next!

  • @lakewood85 Don't blame a nation for the crimes perpetuated by their leaders decisions. Population assumes what is commonly accepted as reality and act in consequence, information is precious (beware of propangada). Atrocites are part of omninations, look bakc in the US history and question yourself.

  • jouseki, Wat the US did was not out of a want for war, it was out of a want to end it. that's the difference, so yes it does make the US better then the Japanese who started the war, and dropping the bombs on military bases may have made difference, but killing innocents made Japan realize the US was willing to do anything to end the war.

  • @MegaTyphon In almost every household in Japan there was a business to make something for the war effort. From bandages to parts for planes to bullets , you name it. That is another reason we bombed the civilian population.

  • The US had no choice but to drop the bomb. How can you fight a government who's willing to sacrifice nearly every men, women, and children at their disposal? My grandma who's a survivor from Okinawa is grateful that the bomb brought an end to the war. It not only saved her and her sister's life but also many Japanese and American's lives if this war would gone any further.

  • @jouseki and we did the exact same barbarous things we accused them of, does that make us any better than them?!?!

  • @jam27377 - No we didn't do the "exact same barbarous things" to the Japanese

    Comfort Women?

    Rape of Nanking?

    Bataan Death March?

30% death rate for Allied POWs in Japanese hands? (1% in German hands BTW)

Go to a search engine and look for Unit 731, Yahoo with the pictures is best. Don't forget to look for the woman, split open, guts hanging out and the almost fully developed fetus in the middle of the mess

Tell me again how we did the same to the Japanese then

  • interesting question; why not drop the bomb where the politicians live?

    Or the massive military bases?

After the war, Japan has never built it's war machine. Isn't the why they are rich? They don't need to waste billions building war machines, instead, they make everything else- we buy. They won WWII- think about it. the end result.

  • @Mradamjohnboy To the Jap there is nothing more humiliating than defeat and when it comes losing face Uncle Sam erased the arrogant Jap smile and replaced it with the humiliation while bowing down and begging American for mercy and food.

  • @Mradamjohnboy Military budget of Japan is currently seventh largest in the world.

  • @xqtr74 , If you are right, this confirms it- schools don't teach facts, we are told what they want us to know-period. I was told-taught, conditions of their surrender required that they never again build an army. Subsequently, USA was required to protect them- reason US air force, and Navy bases are permanantly there.... They are there. Can you confirm your statement?

  • Innocent people getting killed is a big part of ANY war. It's unavoidable. Nobody was a "good guy" during WW2. Each side commited their fair share of atrocities. All that war really showed us was how barbaric and primitive humans really are.

  • stupid fat americans, we are the cause for most of the worlds problems this day and age

  • @onixspace haha ure fat

  • @treeboy83 your a faggot hahahahahahahahaahahahahahaahahahahahaha

  • so where the americans

  • I think a lot of u r missing the point. The women and children did not do anything wrong and had been brain washed but never actually killed or fought during the war. Like America, my country (uk/ireland) France, Japan, China ect many nations in the world and its military HAVE done terrible things and I hope my/your wife and children never have to suffer because of some idiotic politician or soldier’s murderous ways. If u think ur country is perfect ur an idiot.

  • @Achalel lol we indonesian people from aceh to papua fighting the dutch for over 350 years.lot 0f greats battle occur fighting this country, then japanese come we fighting them also , when japan lose to america ... the Dutch & England try to re coloniazed us again ... but we fought back (the batlle of surabaya) . Indeed japan done horibble thing to my people ... butcher ,rape & enslave them , force us to bow down to the emperor .at that time japan have to be stop ,now i have a lot of japs friend

  • That's what they get for killing whales and dolphins.^_^

  • WE INDONESIAN GLAD ( at that time ) WHEN USA BOM THAT COUNTRY .... THEY DONE MORE EVIL THING THAN EVIL HIM SELF . LETS MAKE PEACE NOW

  • my grandma's brother was executed by the japanese at ambon whilst a prisoner of war so you'll have to exuse me when I say how much I thank america for burning 100,000 of these savages I'm only sad that my great uncle is'nt around to see the horrible japanese suffer and die slowly like they did to our p.o.w's

  • WUAHAHAHAHAHAHAH.......... ITS CALL "WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND".... "KARMA AT ITS BEST".... NIP DESERVES IT, ALL HAIL THE TWO HOLLY A-BOMB THAT WIPE A SMALL PORTION OF THESE CANCER AND PARASITE NIP OF THE EARTH OFF...... SO WE WOULD HAVE LESS MISERY AND SUFFER...... I LAUGH AT THESE DEAD PARASITE AND VIRUS NIPS IN THE VIDEO.

  • Please watch this now: /watch?v=ZMymR8ktPRg

  • Lets talk about those millions of chinese killed by the Japs. Lets talk about the 230 thousand korean women taken for sex slaves for Jap soldiers. Lets talk about Japan's style for holding prisoners of war. ..... "liberalism is a sickness that can be cured".

  • Survivors and their children were quietly suffering and dying with cancer, leukemia, deformed organ etc...for many decades.

I grew up befriending with American kids, got no grudge over what damage done to my family. What's done is done.

However, I get inflamed to see U.S. gvmt repeating same mistake over and over...

PLEASE LEAVE AFGANISTAN AND IRAN ALONE!!

DON'T KILL ANY MORE INNOCENT LIVES!

from: cancer patient Japanese Muslim, born in Nagasaki

  • @amybulat passively accepting america's actions is the way to allow its domination to continue. remember when europe appeased hitler? To lack anger, to lack the desire to topple this evil regime... that is what allows it to grow. america is like hitler's empire was in 1938... growing thanks to appeasement from countries to scared to stand up and fight fo rfreedom.

  • hey Japanese and a Muslim, Are you a pedophile like Muhammad was?

  • My grand father and aunties were killed that day, my grandma, father and uncles were showered with radiation loaded black rain. They found only bones & sculls at the place my gardener grandpa was working that day.

Two of aunties' body were not found.

Grandma gave birth to brain damaged baby a few months later. My father then 7 yrs old, uncles and other relatives still phisically and mentally suffers to this day. Many have passed away, though.

  • They started it

  • Yeah. But this was a coward response from Pearl Harbor attack. The best way was to attack an japanese army base and kill enlisted man and not destroyed innocent civilians who did not participate in Pearl Harbor attacks. This was not the way to approach the situation, it was severe.

  • FDR let pearl harbor happen!!!hard to believe but suckit up...

  • To live.. is to die... to kill.... is to be killed

  • "War brings man's best to do man's worst" said unknown

  • Japan declared war on the US, and the US gave the Japanese what they themselves had declared. The atomic bombs saved lives because without them, there would've been an invasion of Japan. You people cry about a couple of hundred thousand deaths due to the A-bombs, but this is nothing compared to the millions that would've died if the US, Australians, British, and Soviets had invaded. It's too bad this had to happen, but Japan declared the war.

  • It sucks that our own "nation" instigated it...

  • believe it!!!i hate the government!!!

  • @Mainsail76 Actually, the US declared war on Japan after the attack on Pearl Harbor. Before that they had declared neutrality and were only offering aid.

  • The Soviet had already arranged a peace protocol with the Japanese.

  • So attacking civilians in America for what American soldiers do in Iraq is ok?

  • America declared war on Iraq...They too, will get what they've declared. Your people whine and complain about a few thousand body bags draped with American flags while your leader smirks with pride while he gloats over his "shock and awe" ability to obliterate human beings...Well the shadow of your compliance will hang over your bankrupt culture and your petty lives...toss on another 50 cent tune and slop back a Dominos pizza...How great America killed so many...Cheers!

  • dont hate me and my fellow citizens...i dont make decisions that take lives nor do i fight for the government...im sick of idiots like you who target all their hate towards the american people instead of the bastards in congress or in the white house!!!cheers!!!

  • @Mainsail76 well said ...and 100%correct....

  • @Mainsail76 Don't forget that: soviet troops (communism) were crossing Manchuria and were at 3-4 days from invading Japan, not good for USnA containment policy + it was a demonstration of USnA military supremacy against Stalin for post war purpouses. And the US invaded Japan and still has military aerobases in Okinawa, if that isn't imperialism? Pearl harbour= excuse for selling war to the public, and was evitable. Nazism, communism, dictatures, terrorism..same shit. But ok for what you said.

  • @Mainsail76 fuck you, talk about over 5 million japanese died from the other bombings all over the country, the series of firebombings in tokyo was the largest bombing in history (the people died there were more then hiroshima and nagasaki combined) and by the way, japan dident want to declare war on the united shithole states, they were force into it. not to mention germany, which suffered even more overall casualties and amerika DECLARED WAR ON THEM

thumbs up so truth would be spread....

  • @dividednation44 is that an attempt at sarcasm? Try researching the facts, they are the opposite of what you said.

  • @LorenWho it is'nt you little shit.

this is full truth and if you think theres non truths in it, mention them!

  • @dividednation44 Japan declared war on the United States, not the other way around. And Germany had to join in the fight because they were allies with Japan. Fact.

  • @LorenWho look you little shit, japan was forced and cornered to declare war on them

germany was bieng a peaceful and humble country, but got attacked and killed and demonised for bieng the only country which has a leader who gives his people evreything

  • @dividednation44 I refuse to enter into a battle of wits against an unarmed person. Go back to your delusions now.

  • @LorenWho OH GUYS! CHECK IT OUT! an another typical idiot lik this who once gets cornered and the truth gets revealed, decides to turn tail and walk away.

go coward out you loser, battle of wits my ass

  • @LorenWho OH GUYS! CHECK IT OUT! an another typical idiot lik this who once gets cornered and the truth gets revealed, decides to turn tail and walk away.

go coward out you loser, battle of wits my ass

  • @Mainsail76

The Japanese had no choice but to declare war. If they hadn't, their whole industry would have been inoperational. You stopped all petroleum transports to Japan.

  • Well , there is nothing 'cute' or 'Cool' about an atomic bomb. -to think for a second I am not sickened by this video and the suffering it has caused. As for Americans leaving countries worse then when they went in there I would have to agree with you. Vietnam as an example. People are still getting sick from agent orange that was sprayed during the conflict , not to mention all the unexploded munitions that still lay in the ground. Let us pray for wisdom never to use the bomb again.

  • MrBiblia Patriotism, really had nothing to do with the dropping of the atomic bomb, It was a tool to end the war, and it did. The Japanese government at the time was unyielding and unbending. Their refusal to surrender more then anything anything else led the Americans to have no alternative, Truman sternly warned the Japanese government. How many more Japanese and Americans alike would have perished if America would have invaded with a land battle? -I have read history, I do know the truth.

  • You don't get the point Americans now a day think that the atomic bombs killing hundreds of thousands were "cute" or "cool" and that civilians who had nothing to do with anything dying was the right thing to do. And of course if you look at history nations that are occupied like the Americans' "peace" intended go through hell and become poor nations. The Japanese had never in the entire history of the world been occupied, of course they were not going to allow such a thing to happen.

  • Ladies and gentlemen, You cannot disagree with what I say , Perl Harbor was attacked, 4000+ solders died a Perl Harbor, if the Japanese government at the time were not to have attacked, America would not have had to retaliate, also at the end of the Manhattan project in America , it scared the hell out of the scientists that such a bomb would actually be used, the called for a demonstration and there was the Potsdam Deceleration, USA gave Japan a chance to surrender. I don't hate Japan.

  • Then we should had attacked enlisted soldier men only. And not attack civilians who were unarmed. This is just one of our disonorable military moves that throught history had been part of. There no justification to kill innocent children and women that had nothing to do. The war was declare by the government of Japan, probably the best approach was to bomb the politicians who declare it, those kids were not part of any war. This was a coward action. Is like a grown man hitting a kid.

  • @Crpetersena How many innocent Iraqis were killed in America's "shock and awe" bombing campaign? I guess by your logic it's only fair and right that the Iraqis nuke American...Maybe Iran will beat them to it and we can all discuss how America deserved it and how they had a chance to stop meddling in the middle east...The future is long...at some point nuclear capability will be in the hands of one of Americas many enemies. Let's hope they're more humane than the Americans were...

  • Am I perhaps the only one that realizes that the death of hundreds of thousands of people used as lab rats is not in ANY way beautiful as the narrator says at all?

  • American minds have been brainwashed to believe that dropping 2 Atomic bombs was the "patriotic" thing to do...

You know, those "damn japs had it coming to 'em."

Killing so many innocent people...was an immoral act and a crime against humanity.. who knows, maybe we in America will "get whats coming to us" on day.

  • I'm sorry THE US SOLDIERS said the were sorry for the sins that they committed? -Oh these were the words of the Japanese Film Crew , WHO started the war with the Americans? Who bombed and killed innocent civilians and soldiers alike at pearl Harbor? - So -they bombed pearl harbor.. - We gave them the atomic bomb in return.

  • Sir.... Please... Dont be a dumbass....

Make the effort, it is not a great one at all, to just open a book ANY book I don't care which one it is, and read it. Then, inform yourself about the war, not from propaganda but from true sources.

  • Truman is pretty cool guy, eh nueks Japna and doesn't afraid of anything

  • The japanese reaped what they had sown. They worshiped and blindly followed their emperor like a god. and enscribed the names of the soldiers who did the rape of nanking into their most sacred temples.

  • they bombed hawaii first. it just took us 3 or 4 years to finally to give them back what they had coming. unfortunately the civilians got killed. but many were killed by the japanese, as well as germany. both committed atrocities to their pows. but japan was even more ruthless, to their pows. germany was just a freaking scourge as soon as hitler came into power. the whole nation swallowed his bs hook line and sinker.

  • Beautiful?

They call something that killed thousands of innocent people that had nothing to do with that the Japanese army did, them people had no say in what the army did to the POW or the attacks on other countries and they call it beautiful!

  • Mrbiblia your village called they want there idiot back I told them your on your way You sir should of been aborted

  • Give em hell NamVetBuck I agree fuck japan they had it coming

  • The Japanese were ruthless. See the book by American historian Bert Webber: Silent Siege III: Japanese Attacks on North America in World War II: Ships Sunk, Air Raids, Bombs Dropped, Civilians Killed. -- The Japanese considered surrender to be the utmost disgrace and NOT an option. The A-Bomb forced them to see that surrender isn't such a bad thing.

  • nothing delivers a message like a big-ass explosion. You know what Captain Price said, "To put out the fire you have to set a bigger explosion right next to it. Snuffs out the oxygen, kills the fire.

  • @fastfoodclowns and we did the exact same barbarous things we accused them of, does that make us any better than them?!?!

  • @fastfoodclowns that dosnt mean that the Japanese civilian population isnt due an apology, the children and women in this video who had their bone marrow microwaved did not drop any bombs on anyone.

I fully appreciate that the war would have cost untold millions if Japan had to be taken by conventional means, but really, a neccessary atrocity is still an atrocity.

Watch the movie Grave of the Fireflies.

  • @djdougwright you are an idiot! the japanes population was totally subservient to an agressive and evil military regime, Their total support for the war means that they do not deserve anything certainly not an apology. The military leadership held out after being given an ultimatum, total unconditional surrender. That was unnaceptable to them, more pointless deaths were unnaceptable to the allies The japanese reaped what that had sown. Tough! dont like the endgame? then dont start wars!

  • @geo7863 I think you just proved it's you thats the idiot, you contradict yourself. You admit the people were subservient to a regime but then go on to say that they rejected the surrender demands. It was the military who rejected those demands, not the people. If you think using a nuke is acceptable then you are either 12, completely ignorant, or George W Bush in disguise. I have studied the second world war in great detail I assure you, History is written by the victors, to suit them.

  • @djdougwright what twisted logic you use!...no I think I was right first time you are an idiot a bit more than an idiot in fact a total fuckwit would be more apt a description for you. The Military rejected the demands, just as the Military started japans involvemnet in the War. At no time have I ever heard of any attempts to overthrow the Military regime as there were in Germany.. I havent heard of any japanese versions of Pastore Niemoller or Bonhoefer, never heard of a japanese......

  • @djdougwright version of Klaus von Stauffenberg. The Japanese citizens were so indoctrinated with the culture of Bushido and the shame of surrender that (as facts show on Saipan) they would have fought to their dying breath and the committed suicide rathyer than be captured. This would have been extremly costly in numbers of allied casualties and if you think if wouldnt have then you are even more of an idiot than I assume you to be. So whilst I hope that Hiroshima and Nagasaki were.......

  • @djdougwright and will remain the only two nuclear weapons to have been used in anger yes I do think it was right to use them and after the disgusting atocities that the japanese commited in EVERY SINGLE COUNTRY that they invaded and conquered..the .rape, murder and torture of hundreds of thousands of civilians and prisoners of war, then no I dont think the Japanese people of Hiroshima and Nagasaki deserve an apology.

  • @fastfoodclowns - Well said !! The truth is that the atomic bombs SAVED more Japanese and American lives than it destroyed. ALL of the people of Japan would have fought until the end and/or killed themselves.

  • @fastfoodclowns

are you justifying the bombing of hiroshima and nagasaki

why dont you just kill yourself if you beleive so

nothing can ever forgive and explain what americans did and why my grand mother died

how would you feel if i wrote, i hope somebody destroys america so it stops destroying the planet .

  • Who ever plays "nice" and "by the rules" in war? Oh, the Japanese have committed mass genocide (+20 million Chinese civilians), but the US is evil for killing several hundred thousand?

War is evil in every sense of the word. In combat, there are NO rules.

  • Looks like MrBiblia has no intention of revealing what war or country he served militarily...so that pretty much voids his claim, and his veracity...his viewpoint has already been discredited !

  • America, is being judged for its sins. The judgment over America looms over it- and our fall as an EMPIRE will be soon.

IMMORALITY- and our hardened, unrepentant hearts are bringing this judgment.

  • The atom bomb tests are killing us today. The radiation level is much higher today than it was pre-1945. Experts say that any increase in radiation level is harmful to human DNA. We are also still using depleted uranium weapons. A heavy metal, and literally radioactive waste which permanently poisons the area in which they are used. The winds bring a large dose of radioactive dust to you yearly. If we continue to stand idle, this world will be a polluted wasteland toxic to human life.

  • thus our world will become barren and toxic like others in our solar system. ones that appear to have never harboured life.

  • A terrible job of management we have done here. Oceans of plastic. Deserts of depleted uranium. Forests of genetically modified plants. Acid rains. Roundup soils. Pro-Choice dog food. Radioactive fertilizers. Chemtrail skies. Chernobilized farmlands. Landfills of dog poop and kitty litter in permanent plastic bags. Over crowded jails of disease. Man made viruses. Junk food culture. Off-kilter allocation of wealth. Schools that teach stupidity, and so on and so forth...

  • ok, i dont know in what context this discussion is taking place, but i fail to see how anyone can ever justify the use of atomic bomb, given that the US govt had already tested and knew fully well the power of the atomic bomb.

  • Better thousands of Japs fry, than allied troops die ! Pearl Harbor = Hiroshima, Nagasaki...payback's a bitch !

  • Perhaps your mother, sister, daughter and children should've been there-

You are part of the problem of this country and an image of the immoral decadence of this country.

  • And you sir...are what this country doesn't need...a pacifist. Thomas Jefferson wrote " Those who turn thier sords to plowshares will plow for those who don't " ...and if that meant Little Boy and Fat man being dropped to end / win the war...then the right thing was done.

  • Thomas Jefferson would've never let our BOYS be MASSACRED at Pearl Harbor- You know well that the government know IT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN. Get educated, "bub."

Atom Bombs are DETERRENTS for ATOM BOMBS, not CONVENTIONAL WEAPONS.

You ARE one ignorant fool, arent you?

  • Another misstatement of fact....thier were no ther nukes in 1945 except our own, therefore they couldn't be classified as "deterrents" , and that made them tactical strategic weapons !

Educate your own self on military definitions, or don't try and debate with me.

The only fool here is the whacko government conspiracy nutjob !

  • Thank you for demonstrating to everyone that you have absolutely NO CONCERN for military rules of engagement as long as the "mission" gets accomplished.

Learn to READ- I NEVER SAID that when the Atom Bomb was made in WWII, that it was made for the purpose of it being a "Deterrent." I was making a general statement.

But dont forget- YOU'RE STATEMENT- "The bitches had it coming to them" still stands- war monger.

I hope your family gets killed so you feel the sting of Hiroshima.

  • Nope...wrong again...it's not war mongering, it's called just retribution...and payback.

You got your wish...my grandpa died in prison camp under the Japs, and my old man and uncle barely survived.

Now, unless you care to reveal what war / country you foiught for, your "claim" to be a war vet is null and void...like the rest of your spiel.

  • Hey, "NamVet"

How many women and children in Vietnam were "little bitches that had it coming to them??"

You're one of those who believe that going to villages and raping women and children is TACTICAL PROWESS, right?

  • Another wrong conclusion...villagers who aren't shooting at you deserve no such treatment, the VC and NVA did. If they take up arms or assist the enemy in any way, that's a different story.

My tactical training is part of being a Marine infantry grunt, and an infantry officer. You still haven't submitted YOUR "tactical" experience or training.

  • The ATOM BOMB was an act of TERRORISM upon innocent men, women and children.

We in AMERICA would call it TERRORISM if it was done to us- but given our history (Gulf of Tonkin, Operation Ajax, Operation Northwoods, CIA Assassinations, etc.) it is ONLY an ACT OF TERRORISM when it is harm is perpetrated on us- but when WE DO IT, its called our "MORAL DUTY."

America, the land of DOUBLE SPEAK.

  • You must not have had anybody die at the hands of the Japs in WW2...they got what they had coming to them !

  • You're one of those guys that think that the Federal Reserve is "Federal" right?

  • And I bet you are some kind of Ron Paul / government conspiracy type..and that has nothing to do with this video. Contrary to leftist or libertarian political folderal, your existance depends on the military defending this country, and using all means to defeat our enemies that also protects our troops from more casualties than the enemy suffers.

Ever do a tour of duty ? My whole family for 4 generations has. I did 3, USMC.

  • 3 of those family members were POW's of the Japs in the Philippines, dad, uncle, and grandfather...and Gramps died from his "treatment" under them. So spare me the "christian" allegory, as a practicing Lutheran, and a Chaplain for the American Legion, I have those beliefs, but I'm not stupid either.

Dropping the Bomb was a right thing to do...period. Guess Japan shouldn't have attacked Pearl Harbor..eh ?

  • Wrong- to kill innocent people- men, women and children is NEVER RIGHT.

What makes you different from Al-Qaeda? NOTHING.

You say you "have those beliefs too..." No you don't pal- your sense of morality is certainly NOT CHRISTIAN. You live under a delusion.

  • Those who died from the Bomb weren't "innocent" ..they worked in the war plants, were being trained {yes, kids as well) to defend Japan as suicide troops amed with even nothing more than bamboo poles.

And , like I asked , did YOU ever risk your butt to defend freedom ?

As for my religious beliefs, it is not up to YOU to judge them, that's between me, and God ! Yours seem to be out of whack, taking the side of the enemy. And Al Quaida kills in the name of Islam, the military doesn't !

  • YES, I am a war veteran. In either case, I do not believe in comparing pee-pees or macho heroisms...

Wrong- Obviously you have never lived under a a REGIME that FORCES YOU to work in FACTORIES, ETC. My family comes from a Communist country- and we know what that is.

Wrong- I am a theologian and know the Scriptures- and the Church IS CALLED TO JUDGE. Your "religious beliefs" are open to be judged by those of your religion. Religion is NOT PRIVATE- it is COMMUNAL.

    Are you educated?

  • What war ,for which country ?

Just because the government forces you to work in war factories doesn't mean they aren't WAR FACTORIES and not legitimate targets...are you tactically educated ?

And your views on Scriptures and religion are your own...religion as an item IS private, however , worship can be private or communal. A particular sect is communal, but the members have the choice to be private about it.

And NO SIR, thier is only 1 judge...GOD !

  • Give me the BIBLE TEXT that teaches that The Church cannot judge matter of religion...and I will concede to your ignorance.

Am I tactically educated? You must be a legend in your own mind, eh? You really have esteem problems, don't ya..next thing you know you might want to compare pee pees- LOL

Wrong- The CHRISTIAN RELIGION is not a matter of PRIVATE INTERPRETATION OR PRACTICE. Christianity is COMMUNAL.

INNOCENT WOMEN AND CHILDREN DIED. You are a coward.

  • No esteem problem here , bub, US Marine veteran, don't need to compare genitals either..be a shame to make ya cry ! LOL !

And you, of all people, have no reason, the balls , or right to call me a coward. You care to settle this at dawn...choose your weapons. Be happy to have my second call on you...clown !

  • Now wait a second- are you "challenging me?" Be careful.

Anyone with an ounce of psychological education can see from a MILE AWAY THAT YOU DO IN FACT have esteem issues... The constant comparing, attempting to control, the challenge- You sir, do have issues.

And yes, YOU ARE A COWARD- who happens to be a troll. Anyone who calls innocent women and children BITCHES- is a coward. You have NO MORALE- a shame indeed to the Marine spirit.

  • LOL! Another misconception...I dare to point out the idiocy and lack of tactical expertise you have, you get nasty ! now THERE'S issues for ya ! And again, what war, for what country did you serve ? Or is your claim an empty one ?

And unless YOU are a Marine vet, shut your pie hole ...you don't have the gravitas to comment about things you know nothing of.

  • You're a fucking Genocidist Jap. Defending a nation which committed cannibalism, multiple genocide, salting of lands, massive raping, enslaving etc. 2 words, UNIT 731.

  • And you're a fucking uneducated moron. Im not "defending a nation" like you say- I am simply stating that KILLING SO MANY INNOCENT WOMEN AND CHILDREN was IMMORAL.

And its the mentality of "the Japanese got what deserved" that eventually get US....since we're all over the world spreading our version of "freedom." Perhaps, we too deserve for our innocent women and children to be killed, eh? Oh, of course not- a moron like you thinks we're the world's "heroes."
