Thanks Jamie.. I hope some time you can come down to Patagonia..and visit

  • can you tell me what ingredient did he use at 3:16? thx =)

  • @xXxMCrYxXx dry yeast rite?

  • @xXxMCrYxXx (from Jamie Oliver web site) ingredients

    • 1kg strong white bread flour or Tipo ‘00’ flour

or 800g strong white bread flour or Tipo ‘00’ flour, plus 200g finely ground semolina flour

    • 1 level tablespoon fine sea salt

    • 2 x 7g sachets of dried yeast

    • 1 tablespoon golden caster sugar

    • 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

    • 650ml lukewarm water

  • @mojicala thanks you very much!

  • I want to eat my monitor.

  • ja no wa-ai mean?

  • I looooove this show!!!!

  • what is the second green ingredient that he put in the pan? sorry in cant listen well, im not a native english speaker..!

  • @ositin basil leaves

  • @ositin it is basil

  • thats not how dough is made

  • @junicares There must be a Hundred different ways to make it, this is just his way

  • @k9forkids yeah, one of which is the correct way.

  • @junicares there is no one way to do it

  • @towerguarder yes there is

  • how can you dislike good food......

  • i wonder why he cuts things directly on the work surface... is there a type of wood that isn't ruined by this after short time? or do they just rip out the whole kitchen after shooting the show? :D

  • What is he using at 3:06? Four tablespoons of... I'm Dutch, don't recognise the name of the ingredient.

  • @samenzwering Extra virgin olive oil.

  • @FantoMx14 Thanks!

  • @FantoMx14 Ah, no my bad :-) I meant the ingredient after that one, at 3:10. "And I'm gonna use...", sounds like "dry G's" to me, but nobody, and I mean nobody, would ever cook a G. Let alone, a DRY G. Can you tell me what it is?

  • @samenzwering I think he said dried yeast

  • @michaelxfade Great, thanks!

  • @Gitarre888 Die Deutsche Stimme klingt echt wie der reinste Asi-Hartzer

  • he makes it look so easy

  • can somebody please write me what are those two types of flour he is using? I dont know them and I can´t really understand what he is saying... thank you very much! :)

  • @matulka09 Semolina flour and "strong" flour (the later is ordinary flour typically used for baking bread.)

  • @felakezekkel Thank you! :)

  • I love this show, Jamie is totally perfect.

  • fuck I'm starving!

  • I could eat the damn mushrooms alone... wow

  • Thumbs up if ur watching this because ur fucking hungry

  • What should i do if im using only fresh tomatoes and no canned tomatoes??..

  • @impheonix

You should use really ripe ones, remove the skin (put them in boiling water for a minute and the skin should come off easily) and chop them. Then put a few spoons of olive oil (be generous) in a pan and a few chopped cloves of garlic and immediately add the tomatoes. The cooking time is longer though, the tomatoes in a can are pre-cooked, but you should cook yours for at least a half an hour (they should fall apart) and add the basil closer to the end of cooking.

  • @TheDarthBarbie

canned tomatoes aren't cooked, they're just packed at peak ripeness without the skins. most italians don't cook the sauce before putting it on the pizza to retain the fresh taste of the tomato

  • Eh.. I just made the pizza dough.. man he makes it look easy :D.. i accidently >_>.. broke one of the corners of my flour "ring"... water and yeast _everywhere!!" all over the floor and down the dishwasher.. was such a mess xD , managed to save it tho' so, just waiting an hour for it to grow :P! cool, stuff anyways x)!

  • i dont understand what simolina is actualy

  • @petarstankovic91 semolina flour is a grind of a wheat called durum. its usually slightly yellow in colour and coarser in texture but not as yellow or coarse as cornmeal.

  • @anablephobia1 tnx very much

  • HEY THANX FOR POSTING THIS VIDEO.....MORE VIDEOS FROM OLIVER PLS PLS PLS PLS!!! IM GONNA SUB N UR CHANNEL ...THANX!!

  • I tried the tomato sauce but the result was a watery sort-of tomato juice. Any ideas? :(

  • @SMOKELUNGS Have a few more cigarettes while the sauce is boiling and let it reduce a bit more.

  • @SMOKELUNGS Your sieve is not course enough and only the juice is getting through and not enough pulp.. buy a course sieve..

  • @35mrose Hey cool thanks :)

  • awww my goooodnesss!! mushroom glore!

  • ps se discute el werito, apesar de los ingredientes q para mi en lo personal parecen un poco extraños... pinche wero, podrias usar ingredientes que pueda comprar en el puto super???

  • hey does anyone know why we need samolina ?!?

  • @minhchau88

put samolina to make the pizza "crispy"

  • fantastic recipe I tried it myself!^_^

  • More Jamie Episodes please. There soooo hard to find!

  • haha he smacks it like a bum! 4:20

  • @chickalinah maybe more like 4:18

  • wth is strong flour? where can i buy it?

  • @xazngiirlx He just means bread flour and it can be ound in pretty much any grocery store these days. Hope this helps. :)

  • @xazngiirlx

high protein flour usualy type "00" (dbl zero)

  • i love him...OMG..his the best..love that accent..and hes not a trying hard t.v. personality..hes charm is natural

  • i looooooooooooooooove his accent lol :)

    so...cute :)

  • tnx for sharing the English version, and he just likes to hurry it to show us it is extremely easy to make, and can be ready in matter of minutes. And as he says, the whole tomatoes thicken the sauce. Besides all this, its a show, he makes it interesting :D

  • I don't understand, why he is so in a hurry with the sauce, when anyway he has to wait for the dough? This sauce would get a much better taste if he'd cook it the italian way. Other question, why not to use a small tin of concentrat instead of three tins of tomatoes, which at the end anyway he put through the sieve?

  • ahh.. in English his voice is much better. The German one is horrible. Thank you for sharing this.

  • @Gitarre888 Totally agree with you! I'm german myself, but the dubbing absolutely ruins it!

  • @Gitarre888 Da hast du recht, die englische Version ist besser. Ist nur Gewöhnungssache, und teilweise werden in der deutschen irgendwelche Sachen synchronisiert, die er im Original nie gesagt hat :D

  • how many TOMATOES????

  • Three tins, or cans.

  • @ggomez210790

    3 tins

  • yum yum yum

  • I made the bread dough exactly like this once for a pizza, and afterwords storing the leftover dough in a Ziploc . When my dad wanted to use it, the whole thing swelled so much the Ziploc bag nearly Exploded.

  • i am only watching this because of his accent xd it's a greaaat accent ^^

  • Looks yummy, but salt and yeast shouldn't be in contact at first.

  • Wonderful. Quite enjoyable, thanks for posting

  • series 1 I think mate
