One of the gems from Mehdi Hassan. I recall my young days, when I was in school and had watched this movie in Ujala Cinema and Almas Cinema in Chittagong, my birth place. The song was picturised somewhere around Rangamati Hills or near about Kaptai Lake.

yes a great song with superb poetry. i saw this around 1966 when i was in college.

sixties was a golden period for not only for pakistani film industry but for pakistan itself. that golden time for peace and prosperity ( probably ) will never return, at least not in our life time.

Shabana the preety girl acted beautifully in this film. I saw this film some 44 years back, still I am enjoying with the golden songs like this and the Great Mehdi Hassan's voice "rooh bhar deti hei" jism mein. I am very much thankful to the gentleman who posted this song and the entire team should also be appreciated for maintaining this Great Youtube. I should always pray for all of them.

thank you for uploading the great songs of Pakistani film industry . I grew up watching indian films like so many of our pakistani families living abroad. This gives me an opportunity to really see the good and great talent that Pakistan had but could not market properly over the world.
