ronnie has had his share of flukes in the past.. and so did all the players.. none of you could find a better rule for a fluke pot.. it's part of the game and i think it's not too bad.. i mean what's next?? a fluke hit when trying to hit a red from a snooker position?? should the player nominate which red?!?! John Higgins had a 147 and fluked one on the way! in the name of snooker.. gimme a BREAK!
"We have a gambling sponsor, why don't we take the championship to a casino and have a real game of chance?" (said Shaun Murphy in WSC2008 after lost to Ali Carter with a lucky shot , two reds in only one shot). He is absolutely right.
What change would you make with regard to a luck shot? The ball spots and loss of turn?? - that penalizes the player that was "lucky". Perhaps the ball spots and the lucky player must then play a safe? I can't see a penalty for a lucky pot being more fair than simply leaving the rule as it is.
"O'Sullivan is a genius, but I have to say this guy Judd Trump is making my jaw drop more than anyone I have ever seen." - Steve Davis
"He played a brand of snooker I've never seen in my life. I was frightened to death to even play safe because I knew he was going to knock them in." - John Higgins
"Judd's greatest asset is his game terrifies people. Never seen anyone pot so well. Scary." (of course, now he has a bit more to say lol) - Ronnie O'Sullivan
A great final between the two great players, after all a fluke shot is the shot where any one player can have benifit. Why cant anyone think otherwise? If it would have gone by ronnie,s side, then? Judd should be congratulated for the championship he won..afterall he is the ronnie o sullivan of tomorrow.
@BDH101291 See who was better: Ronnie O’Sullivan 4 x 1 Gramme Dott Ronnie O’Sullivan 4 x 1 Neil Robertson Ronnie O’Sullivan 4 x 1 Stephen Lee Ronnie O’Sullivan 4 x 0 Andrew Norman Ronnie O’Sullivan 4 x 1 Adam Wicheard Ronnie O’Sullivan 4 x 0 Anthony Hamilton Judd Trump 4 x 1 Martin Gould Judd Trump 4 x 2 John Higgins Judd Trump 4 x 0 Tom Ford Judd Trump 4 x 3 Jimmy White Judd Trump 4 x 2 Craig Steadman Judd Trump 4 x 1 Martin O’Donnel

Mi-ar fi placut sa-l vad pe Martin Gould in finala, dar se pare ca de fiecare data se impiedica de Judd Trump. Poate data viitoare...

@SchuleJHG I totally agree. I just think the rule is wrong. A final match could never be decided in a stroke of luck. No matter the winner.

I do not think Ronnie deserved to lose. Out of luck. Unlike Trump. Trump won the match because he was lucky. My God, what are these rules?
robertofr13 3 months ago
@robertofr13 trump won because he was just the best player of the entire day
BDH101291 3 months ago
@BDH101291 trump won because the rules allow fluke pots.
