they should have a jim henson\ brian froud only channel.....both were wonderful collaborators and jim was a genius!!! i'll watch this any day over the junk they show now... its juststuff to create drones from... the stuff my generation had was unique...
Why oh why do we NOT have this caliber of programming today? I'll take the Fraggles and Belle and Sebastian and Mysterious Cities of Gold over Spongebob and Fairly Oddparents any day of the week.
The great thing about Henson shows was that kids could enjoy the simplicity, and adults could enjoy the complex background meanings. As a child, many of the hidden lessons have embedded themselves in my attitude and thoughts.
oh please most kids shows now are rubbish, i have to sit through enough with my own son, now why oh why cant they just bring back the old classics like fraggle rock!!!!
Ah, the insecurities of childhood. Now since I'm out of the fog, I can really see how profound some of the viewing that I was exposed to as an insecure child is.
How how many of ya'll as kids, saw this episode, went to school the next day, went to the jungle gym at recess, placed yourself in the middle and played like you were Mokee locked up in a cage? I did. LOL
I remember this from my childhood days, my siblings as well. T_T they really touch you on how the world worked, fraggle rock, punky brewster, and other such 80s productions.
I really adore this song! I really do!!!!!!
