Have you ever played a game on the PS1 called Hell Night (also known as Dark Messiah in Japan, and is often refered to as it makes more sense to the plot)? Its VERY VERY scary and I honestly think that you should take a look at it. It is rare but if you can get your hands on it or an emulation of it you have a pure gem :D
man i HATE it when America leaves games out of our culture ESPECIALLY if they are said to play an important role in a franchise. FUCK american culture
Totally agree about Clock Tower getting progressively worse, the original on the SNES is nothing short of epic, the PS1 game "Clock Tower" was very good as well, Clock Tower 2 was a bit stupid and I didn't really like it at all and I can't honestly say I like anything about Clock Tower 3.
Excellent! I'm glad I'm not the only one who has played this excellent game. Scared the crap out of me when I was smaller. I still hear the little ghost children singing their song.. "snip snip snip goes the right leg.." :(
I guess it all depends, though I think their is at least one cool thing from each.
With the second one, it seemed to be a different type of scared. Your not in isolation, you are in Oslo and still no-one can help. That seems a bit freaky.
With Ghost Head, it was really cheesy. However, the idea of changing personalities seemed an interesting idea and Bates was a cool personality.
With the third one, the cool part was the villains. Corroder was well done.Though I'm looking too deeply XD.
I heard there's going to be a remake of Clocktower, but with a different title. It's called Remothered and it is going to be for the PC.

When you said Clock Tower had sequelitis, does that mean you didn't enjoy the second one? (Not Struggle Within)

I feel that the Clocktower games get worse and worse with every iteration of the the series. Clocktower 1 is by far the best of them all.
