AHHHHH finally!!! I been searching for this for years I live in Philly and was born and raised here. There was a longer version tho. If you have it or anyone could track it down it would be awesome. Damn I miss the 80's lol I had the absolute best childhood. If your childhood or early teen years were not spent in the 80's YOU MISSED OUT ON SOOOO MUCH!!!!
OMG! Thanks for posting this! I remember this commercial. Reminds me of the Philly I grew up on (in the 80s)..miss that Philly. I've lived in MD for 15 years now but I always tell people I'm FROM Philly..LOL
Ahh finally someone found this and put up!!!! I remember this so much from my childhood haha. Grew up there from 80 to 89 and I always remember this commercial.
@ShangoJamal THAT'S the version I was looking for! For years, they always played it before each film at the Ritz Theater, along with the previews! Is that posted anywhere? I can hear Patti singing "Everybody to our party..."!
@njplr.......the longer version had a few flyers (Sutter and Poulin were two of them) joking with the refs in the concourse of the spectrum when they were showing scene's around town. Cant find it on here
I remember when they premiered this spot (the long version) on A.M. Philadelphia with Wally Kennedy. It actually made me cry it was so good, and I wasn't alone. The audience actually gave it a standing ovation. I cannot understand why the Visitor's Bureau and/or Convention Center can't get it together and do another spot that captures the same energy this one did. The pajama campaign? Yuck. The "with love" campaign is cute but not exciting.
I remember this entire commercial.........that had a few of the 80's flyers, Ron Sutter was one of them, walking through the Spectrum concourse for a split second. There were a few different commercials for this.
