@Dr8co1 When you want more power in your backbeat without having to hit harder you flip your stick around and hit with the butt of it. You have to choke up on your grip so you you're not holding the shoulder. That's why it looks shorter.

Anyone know what's holding his rack toms in place? Like are they in connection to the holes on the top of his drum (granted he has them) or maybe they're attatched to a cymbal stand.. idk. I just want to figure out how I too can get my toms in that position and that low

There are rack mount stands were it is just a stand with two rack mounts in place to adjust the level you wish and position the toms as you wish. Drum racks have the same thing.

@Femicide09 the trick to get that sound is a high sound out of your snare, and use alot of compression, with an attack time of approximately 10-15ms. Try it!
