Roger Daltrey played this with his solo band on his Use It or Lose It Tour when I saw him live in November 2009. What an excellent show that was. The musicians with him were outstanding.
"hasnt been played for 35 years?" it was played on the 1982 farewell tour here and there. this is great either way! nice change from the norm. thanks for posting!!!!!!!
That sounds pretty darn great. I didn't think Roger could pull it off, but he always surprises me on this song. I hope they keep it in the list for the whole tour.
False. I was there and have seen them 4 times since 2002. Roger has not sounded this good in any of those shows--his vocals on LROM was astounding. You do realize we are hearing this over a phone speaker? WAAAYYY better sounding live--you should try it. Plus, many songs pulled from the archives--and the expected must-plays. Plus, they added new twists to the standards.
My Favorite! Epic song

Haha I know, that was hilarious.
It's so cool to go to a concert, and 2 days later see it on youtube. Did you like the opening band?

The opening band were okay, I suppose. What were they called again? I honestly don't remember.

Wow, one of my all time favourite tracks. Didn't think they'd ever play it live again. Excellent stuff, loads of thanks to the uploader as well!

Wow that's pretty good. Don't forget Roger is 64 now, but he still has a great voice. Any ideas when their tour hits the UK?
Also message to the uploader, if you don't mind me asking, how much were the tickets to this gig?

Amazing!!
It seems like you are not following very much their activities, because this song is very very rare in The Who's setlists!!
Roger sounds amazing

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Terrible version, Daltrey can't sing anymore. Pete should have done it.
Also, their boring playing same tunes for decades tours continue, how surprising

Blimey. The Who definitely make a lot more sense than your comment.

Then don't see them. And this tour they are playing rare songs that haven't seen the stage often. They are doing Quadrophenia and sister disco
