Anyway it is a great movie, with a great dark feeling, with a great dark soundtrack, love of the monsters.

I think the "Lycan" Doctor was actually a vampire that was given to the Lycans by Kraven, or he was a regular human because he never shows any physical traits or emotional tendencies that all the others do. He doesn't have blue or black eyes.

@albert24138 Marcus was originally a vampire, but became a hybrid IN THIS MOVIE. You know the part where Viktor smashed the doctor guy's face in? His blood dripped into Marcus' tomb and since Marcus is the son of Alexander Corvinus--and thus can live with both Lycan and vampire blood--the doctor's blood mixed with his vampire blood and he became a hybrid. He was a hybrid at the beginning of Evolution.

The blood from the Lycan doctor whom Viktor killed seeped into Marcus's sarcophagus, and because he's a Corvinus, his body was able to absorb it and all its uniquely Lycan properties. I can only assume that he's a hybrid with a more vampiric leaning because he appears far more bat-like than anything else.

Which makes him bat-like because apparently the original vampire and original werewolf both inherited the gene of immortality from their father, which then the two boys, one got bitten by a bat and other by wolf. It explains it in the other movies!
