he was hired to find out the real name of this actress so he went to the studio(?) where she worked and they made friend. this guy had strange dreams every night where he had his ears picked by some mysterious woman in a washitsu. when he sneaked into this actress's house he found a hole on the wall of her house and he peeked and found the interior is just like the room in his dream and a woman picking a man's ear i would like to continue but i ran out of space

@Bobesque Well, its an awesome song. But the feel of the variation is very distinct. This has a very dreamy light orchestra feel to it. The sakuran ver sounds like a jazz band.

Kuki means stem in japanese. Ringo-han differentiate the 3 versions by using the 3 different names.

1) This ver. is named Stem from Singles Box 1999-2003

2) The sakuran ver. Kuki from the Heisei Fuuzoku album

3) The ver. from Karuki Zamen Kuri no Hana album

@Bobesque hmmm..... its very hard to find singers that sing like shiina ringo. Just to name a few close ones- Rie Tomosaka(Ringo's close friend) and Björk(Ringo's main influence).

The thing is what Ringo-han sings is very unique so it is really hard to find songs that are similar. She has many great influences. So, the best bet at finding songs like this is from her solo albums like Sanmon Gossip, Kalk　Samen　Kuri no Hana and Heisei Fuuzoku. All can be found with relative ease in youtube.

@Bobesque lol it's ok. Bjork is an acquired taste. Bjork's music style and voice influenced her. What I think is Shiina Ringo took it and refined it with her background of ballet and classical piano. She listened to many great composers especially Claude Debussy.
