  • Free music downloads have killed the music industry in India... 10 years ago people bought the cassetes. Nobody buys the CDs now

  • Gary Lawyer, Indus Creed, Jasmine Bharucha were the pioneers in western music in India. Its a shame that majority in our country do not acknowledge their talent. Gary would have been a super star in a western country. Thanks for the lovely music and groovy voice. For us you are a real super star!

  • @meghandere Jasmine bharucha .. don't think so , the other 2 yeah sure ...

  • gary u rock baby - from a fan in pakistan

  • Thanks for this video man. It was one of my fav songs and it takes me back to good ol' days.

  • If India can boast about original western-music artist,he's the only one. Of course years of experience to credit that.

Now the Rolling Stone magazine has been in india from a year or so I'm sincerely hoping that he would come up with an album & hope this time they[record company] promote it well.

I was very young when these came out. I only heard it from my elder brother. Now I'm all ready to witness it by myself.

This is rare Gary : you have a fan from Port Blair,Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

Am I the only one who thinks he sounds (especially on other tracks) very much like David Coverdale?

  • Thank you for uploading this, those were the days when music in india was rock and it ruled and not the north indian influenced remixes....facking amazing voice.....if he was born anywhere else he would have been a millionare

  • So good to see this video after ages...any more old indian MTV classics please upload

  • Gary Lawyer's vocals are very powerful and have a great range. I once remember him performing Queen's 'Crazy Little Thing called Love' at Planet M in front of Freddie Mercury's mother and his cousins on the occasion of Queen's 25th Anniversary as a band (late 1999).

Gary sung very well (he was on top of the staircase and the audience below) and Freddie's mother was also enjoying and singing this song! I met him after the gig, told him how much I liked the cover and shook his hands!

  • great vid i love this stuff great guitar work too.

  • Thanks for upping this.

  • amazing song
