What a sentimental lyrics it has been in Bob's vocal, touching and meaning. Truly ejoyed, this song is also one of my favourites of all time and much thanks for posting the fascinating video screen with all the line. Greeting from Taiwan...
The year was 1976 when I begun hearing this song on the radio. I was 12 years old and was on my 6th grade in bangkal, makati... very memorable... very nostalgic... how i wish i could relive those happy and wonderful years of my childhood. My heartfelt thanks for posting this song.
"Live as if each moment were your last-" that way we will never take anybody or anyone for granted...Lots of love to the only man I ever love-probably the last one in my heart!!!
Great song from the 70s. Why can't composers create songs like they used to. Do you think lady Gagas songs will still play 10 years from now? To all composers and singers from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and some in the 90s God bless you all for giving timeless music. Song writers now go to _____!!!,
I've had this song in my head off and on since i first had it as a kid in the '70's,but just couldn't place the artist.when i had it again about 2years ago on a oldies station and caught just a little but of it. so i came here and i found it .this song is very spcial to me and finally having thechance to hear it and to be able to sing along is such a joy. this song still give me chill bumps to this day.thanks for posting it. i wrote down the lyrics and now i will always have it with me. classic.
@trublon4u It might be her.. Three years ago Bob Welch himself posted a comment indicating it was basically him & members of Fleetwood Mac playing & singing this version. Certainly Christine has the abilty to play the harpsichord part...
I forgot to add that if you like this version, buy 'Bare Trees'.
There is a poem on the album titled 'Gray Day'(?). It was recited by an elderly lady and it is breathtakingly beautiful. If you listen to it, you will thank me.
I was born in the nineties, so I missed just about all of the good music. I say we buils a time machine and go back to the 60's, 70's, and the 80's! Where the music was real and so were the people! Instead of this new techno shit!
Este tema tiene algo de genial y una hermosa melodía. La escuché varias veces durante el ´82. Nunca supe como se llamaba hasta que luego de una intesa búsuqeda y gracias a crossover 70s puedo disfrutarla nuevamente. Muchas gracias!!
I have seen this vid a few times! I am adding this to my favorites now since I keep coming back to it when I google the old Fleetwood Mac. Thank you for the post...this is one great song!!
Just heard this in the movie "Grown Ups" and I realized that I haven't heard this song iin years. I forgot what a good song it is, especially considering the colaboration with Fleetwood Mac. Thanks dude for posting!!
I just swooooon when i hear this song still to this day. Its now a song I always think of a special person now in my life, that I love so much.I can't hear it without thinking of him and that can b good & bad. I just listen to it when times are good with him, gawd that sounds like Im such a romantic silly woman after ready this back to myself, but hey, its called emotions and I will never be ashamed to have them. I think when you feel nothing at all, thats when you should be worried. IMO
i just heard this song again from the dvd movie i just watched.......i love this song, brought sweet memories....of my teen years..so looooooong ago..haha
Wow, I remember this song when I had a crush with this guy & was playing a guitar and singhing this song, he was so cute, this was few decades ago. Reminiscing.
Crapple, I don't know if he is still making music, but if he never plays or sings another note, he went over the top with this one!!!!! Beautiful song!!!
can somebody tell me whats the title of a song w/ lyrics (you are my photograph, you are the song that i sing....)coz it sounds like bob whos singin..please...
I was only 8 years old when this song was released and coming from a home where funkadelic was the norm I never heard it when I was growing up. Thanks to Muzak when I worked at Stroud's many years later, I heard this song almost three times in a week. I grew to love it and it makes me tear up every time I hear it. It's a beautiful song... "All I need is you..."
This son brings instant pleasant memories of the 70s back into my mind. I think perhaps the 70s may have been the best decade ever for the average young man growing up, going to HS and College. The music of the era has never been topped.
My God this song made me tear up. I love this song. My brother told me he found this song then forwarded it to me. Thank you for posting this. Great Song!!!
