Price can only be dictated by the law of supply and demand. So it means since 2003, no new oil sources were found while demand was kept high. If war was about oil, wouldn't we be enjoying cheap oil by now? Moreover, if the gov't had the power to fix global oil prices (which allows them to be more powerful than all OPEC countries combined) then why go to war at all? We could just buy all the oil we want for a dime.

There was a man who's name I don't remember, but he invented a way to run vehicles on water alone. He was later found dead. I'm sure due to some lame reason like heart attack. Research it if you want, I never did so I don't know details, but anyway, the government doesn't need oil. It's making us believe WE need it. So we'll pay more if scared into thinking it's scarce or we're losing our grip on it. All the while knowing we can live without it. And it would make the earth better as well.

I was in the first gulf conflict, and didn't believe in it then, and I sure don't believe in it now.
American's are sheep though. The college kids tried to relive the 60's when this thing started, but it became "uncool" and they quickly lost interest. Only those that have truely "lost" because of this greedy war are against it now.
