@TheAnita99 Those are just rumors, and unless we ever get confirmation it's not true.

Kara has said that she left the show to pursure other projects, and with coming out with an autobiography, a new reality tv show judging songwriters alongside Jewel, and some others kind of seem to prove that point true. Plus, if you do believe rumors, one of the rumors was that Kara would stay if Lopez didn't get on, which seems to show they somewhat liked her still regardless.

@horrorbro No she didn't. Those were just rumors. Kara left to pursue other projects, and I think the fact she is writing a book, getting a brand new tv show, moved up in record label position to vice president and some other things show that she really is pursuing other work.

kara was NOT fired. the people at idol were acting like they're 5 years old and left kara clueless. didn't say anything to her and the way she found out about the rumor of her getting fired was from a NEWSPAPER. wtf kinda shit is that? SMH. i used to love idol but now that was just too low. grow up, seriously. kara does not deserve to be treated like that nor does anyone. ima miss her on idol sooo much but i'm glad she left. she deserves soo much better. @rmathew2 well you obviously haven't heard kara sing. she's an amazing singer. and she produces / writes a lot of the songs you hear. she knows when people are good and knows what she's talking about. steven tyler should not be a judge period. i don't care who he is, and yes, i know who he is. kara does not deserve how idol was treating her. not only her, anyone. umm no she's not. she one of the nicest most gorgeous people. she's so amazing. you're just a hater. Kara was fired. That's what I've read. I think AI changed for the worse when Paula was replaced. Kara knows music and performance, but she was overly drapey on Simon constantly laying against him, stroking his arm, etc. She was also a relative unknown going into it.

Just shows you how behind the Associated Press was. Kara was fired a while back and for god sakes did she deserve it much longer ago. Worst judge to ever come to Idol.
