Ah... proof that people still learn an instrument and get together just to "Jam".
Is this from within a small church?
I just rebuilt my main PC again. A low buck tri core, 4 gigs ram, but still having fun getting my good bu anchient SoundBlaster Live card working again to use my Cakewalk and now the built in graphics on the new motherboard isn't enough for WIndows Movie Maker in Vista! :-(
I don't play games on the PC so don't buy high end stuff. But now I got to get a video card :-(
Yey finally a music one. One i could 5 star :) You have been really blessed with music skills. I disagree with you on MANY subjects but you got my respect when it comes to music
I know my Alienware laptop (03 model with graphics card soldered directly on the board) gave up and the board or graphics card on the board kept going bad, sent it back 4 times warranty finally ended and they screwed me.
never again would I buy from that company unless they give me something big for free.
You should've just taken it to a small time computer store, the companies are slow and will fuck you over, pardon my french. Small time computer stores are indeed the best places to go to for this.
it was the motherboard the stupid thing kept going out but I called the maker of the board which was some asian company that had a station in Chino Hills and they wanted the price of another basic laptop.
That alienware cost me over $3,000 dollars and I parted out what I could and placed it into my PC the P4 processor and the hard drive with a converter kit.
For example I have Crysis (freakin sweet) it will not work for XBox 360 or the PS 3 because they don't have the specs or power to run it.
My computer barely made it with specs and I have to run it on low everything except water model quality and the setting that makes the trees and bushes move in the wind I can have on medium.
Crysis is a NOTORIOUSLY hard game to actually play, not just difficulty wise, but because of the raw power your computer actually needs. If a game can't even be played on a console, it isn't worth it, to me at least.
Though I have a soft spot for Shadows of the Collossus
ROFL it requires patience that's for sure, after I beat it I then started tweaking settings to screw with the boundaries of ammo and the cloak and stuff it's fun.
That big ugly keyboard is just the one I use for the church too, I have a logitech back lit one at the house that I don't want messed up from moving around, lol

Yeah it's a small church. Musicianship is indeed dying fast but Gospel music is one area you can't fake and shake and substitute.
I love my Sound Blaster X-Fi card, RAW MEAN POWER with it's own ram built into the sound casrd, that's ridiculous, lol.

I know what you mean. Most schools got rid of music! I bought my daughter a guitar but she never could get going on it.
I had an old Casio keyboard (OLD!!!) and I once used it for MIDI into my Soundblaster Live card to peck out some bass lines for my guitar tracks.
My daughter started wacking around on it about 6 months ago and she's been learning songs she found on the internet.
Now I have the 12 year old that needs something, she plays Habbo online everyday until she goes to bed!

Thanks, took me forever to get the first transition, lol the rest were fairly easy.
The last song is something me and my brother actually created and there's a different video with it more clear here:

You could plug the webcam right into the laptop if you have a cable, I'm not sure what type of keyboard that is though, heh. :P

Crap, not the webcam, the KEYBOARD, you could plug the keyboard into the laptop.

That must suck, man. Thats why I'll never spend more then $750 on a laptop, in case this one goes out, expensive computers have expensive parts.

I'll never buy a "gaming" laptop again. I've realised and learned that games are for PC's not laptops extremely short battery life and all, lol.
main and secondary battery together running at 3 hours of battery life.
I was one of the ginny pigs that bought their first model. **SIGH**

Why not just use an actual gaming system, with online play, what's the difference really?

Pc's are way better than consoles.
I'm an avid PC gamer over console any day.
For example I have Crysis (freakin sweet) it will not work for XBox 360 or the PS 3 because they don't have the specs or power to run it.

But I beat it pure first.

Yes, I have a Casio CTk-411, I paid $5 for it at a yard sale ;D It's what I used to record "Song of the Beast", which I had up on my old account.
