@MrAbomasnow well, not to be kinda blunt, but i mean, i know for a fact that i can upload GH stuff, for a lot of various reasons, but if you want more proof that GH customs fly (even video game covers fly), just search Machinima Guitar Hero Phenom: he's got videos of him doing flat out customs and even video game covers, all with ads/monetization so it's definitely allowed. Video of gaming is given an exception, it's only audio they're worried about.

@MrAbomasnow many people have asked me who the artists are in the audioswapped songs, and you can just mute a video by clicking the mute button, but you can't hear music by clicking a button. plus, audioswapping tells the viewer that there was once music here, but it had to be swapped: muting it makes the viewer think it was silent all along.

@TurboNeon185 it's an automatic, computerized system: if your video contains anything resembling a musical melody, it gets automatically flagged with a marker, which then causes the bots from multiple labels to run through the video and scan it for any audio content belonging to their label.

I agree fully with you about the free advertising part, but unfortunately they are more worried about people ripping the music from the youtube video to listen to it for some reason.

Also, it's not exclusively WMG, it's EMI, UMG, and a host of other smaller labels, as well as YouTube's new setup where if anything has any music whatsoever, even if it's just someone whistling a tune or playing on a bugle, it'll probably get a flag for "musical content".

Do some of the good ol' songs from RB1 and the early DLC and play them on RB3 (NOT in pro mode). You know,Foreplay/Longtime,Don't Fear The Reaper, Won't Get Fooled Again,Good Mourning/Black Friday,Blackened,Train Kept A Rollin,Tom Sawyer.

But play them on a GoodWoods set and with your Destroyer Pedal. And on the best drum parts of each song, you put your "drum pad noise solo" on it. Like the Don't Fear The Reaper guitar solo,the intro to Foreplay,etc.

Honestly, those were your best videos.

All of the songs you just listed too are auto-copyright nailed on upload, with no way to bypass it, not even external audio the entire song works anymore.

The new goodwoods won't work if you tape them, so no solos. I'm not being negative, just saying, there's a lot of factors that make it very hard to make new RB/GH videos currently. :( I appreciate the feedback, though, and I'm still trying to make new RB/GH vids

@stunycrew246 it's not hard, but it doesn't do anything. many sources/youtube accounts have proven this, that there is absolutely no way to avoid copyright if your video has even remotely decent audio, it's just a matter of time (and the higher subscribers/views you have the faster you get hit in general).

the copyright thing is a bot going around, it doesn't read the info, it banned metallica and RHCP's official channels, so it's indifferent.
