I bought one. They only forget to tell you how they lie about the 1.6 Turbo's fuel economy. It guzzle's fuel at 9.5 km/litre, had it at the dealer, he says it's normal. Beautiful car, worst fuel consumption i've ever had and i don't drive fast. I tried every way possible to get low fuel consumption like Opel advertise, it's not possible to reach Opel's advertised fuel consumption. Keep this in mind if you want to buy one.

@loyalqueen TS one isnt that good. I own both a TS and MY75 astra although the TS one is now 230000km still running well. Plently of minor problems though except the engine

I've tried and loved it... so I bought that car, and I'm so happy about it, The one in this video is Cosmo S version, and it costs almost 24000€ but there are many versions which are really good too, and costs less than 20000€!

What do you mean, this car was designed and paid for by GM Europe and GM has own this brand since 1939. There is no Opel without GM Europe. All IP belongs to GM

I am aware of that, but the design and the development was done by the european division... which were mostly europeans. The point is that opel wouldn't be doing so well without the european influence. The parent company has fucked up the GM group while GM europe performed well(esp the latter years). Thus i feel the GM does not deserve Opel...

i disagree, some compact look beter than sedans.

Compacts are popular because of the tax climate in many european countries. Sedans are heavier, larger engines and consume more fuel. Sedans are taxed more heavily. Also many european cities have narrow streets and limited parking space, a mercedes s-class would be a nuisance in that that respect.
