  • Their's that Jimmy Hendrix Reverse Style in this track. "Are You Experience."

  • I want to dance now. Even I. yeah

  • I recall Beavis getting a little too excited about this video on that one Beavis And Butthead episode...

  • @DancingSpiderman I remember Butthead said "Hey Beavis do you ever play Peek a Boo with your weiner?"

  • @sepulthrax Hhaha ! Then Beavis says "peeeEEEKABOO !" haha

I gotta find that episode either on YourTube or on my B & B DVD collection set

  • Esta canción es de Jeepers Creepers

  • I recorded this the same way.

  • Always loved this song and video. Siouxsie is amazing, of course, and I love how the Banshees are creeping around in top hats and doing those creepy looking walks and stuff. <3

  • Go Siouxsie

  • Probably the best song ever written about blow-jobs in my opinion. A move up from the adolesence of 'Turning Japanese' by the Vapours. We Brits do love our innuendo and in the hands of someone like Siouxsie Sioux its an art form in itself. No pun intended.

  • Wherev are you Siouxie come back, this video is amazing the song still wonderful

  • if everyone hates Bieber so much, then why the hell are you constantly talking about him and not this song? ._.

  • @Ramonajunie3 popular topic for trolls.

  • @nowaynohow26 well said

  • siouxsie....you rock!

  • Fawking brilliant! LOvE iT sOOO MuCH!

  • Why cant we have another Siouxsie instead of the lame brain "Look at me Im so pretty" chicks dancing about just now in the charts? Before they come on stage they should have carley simon singing "Youre so vain"!

  • @judderman37 pj harvey

  • Back in '88 I remember this being a catchy and ironic alternative to the horrid flood of House and commercial Dance music.

Still sounds just as original today:)

  • I dance my ass off every Retro Night @ CTO to this song!

  • Why is it that all the old stuff is ∞x better than todays crap like Justin Lame-Ass Beiber?

  • @evfan13 Dude, everything is better then Beiber...no need to state the obvious :D

  • is that the women off of the movie Trolls the 2nd one and ....the cob was dpopping w buter

  • Between the accordion+the cowbell, this song is amazing. Also, I fancy Souxsie Souix...

  • @conradfritz they definitely want that cowbell on the track…I gotta have more cowbell.

  • @meatpuppets93 nice charm

  • Love love love...

  • LOL!!!!!!!!!! Crazy Legs 1:37 yeah!!!!

  • I this used to be my favorite song to jerk off to.

  • Why it reminds me Jeepers Creeper's song? O.O

(^,..,^) One of the best rare goth band ever =P

  • GOD!!! Why don't we have artists AT ALL any more?!? Just stupid over-produced fakes.

  • @brikered There's plenty of artists...jesus, just open your eyes a little.

  • I loved her style ever since my brother and I saw her on mv3 or mp3 it has been a long time(not MTV..I always thought of my self as bieng different not an attitude because I didnt have the life like other girls an attitude because the way I was treated for bieng different (myself following the intincts) of my beloved mother R.I.P I wish you where here so we could talk of the changes and how society always ,will forever let me down...but I will keep on going and except my fate...thats life ...

  • Why do I love Robert Smith, Tim Burton, Edward Scissorhands, Batman, Strawberry Switch Blade, Xmal Deutschland, and Siouxsie & The Banshees? Are they Goth? Or are they just from the 80's?

  • @survivorproject Siouxsie wasn't a Goth. She looked like a Goth.

  • Glad I have assess to all clips now. thank-you

  • ...para incluirla en el repertorio..

    Saludos Paganos.

  • where the hell did all the "dislike*flag*block user*Unblock user*remove*) spring from? First ive noticed it....... but a few are about to get flagged, big time lol

  • Qué puta madre hace un vídeo de Lady Caca ahí!!????

  • Buena rolita de esta damita y sus fantasmales protectoras...

  • Гениально. 1988й? офигеть...

  • One of there best tracks... great band, great song!

  • Happy Birthday Souxie!

  • I don't know why they play this on Lithium. It's not really alternative... or is it? I don't really know, lol. Still a cool song though =)

  • @pantscrapper12 If this was released today it would still stand out among the s called 'Alternative' bands around. This was a move on for SATB away from their Punk/Goth beginnings. And a change of hairstyle for Siouxie!

  • @pantscrapper12 of course its alternative, you tart!

  • @TheLexyboy Not 90's alternative, though, which is what Lithium plays.

  • im only 4 yeers old and im ashamed my peepools listen to justin beeber instead of masterpieces like this

finally music written for us by us

  • @h0tpoop hahahahahahahahahah

  • @h0tpoop spoken like a true 4 year old!

  • @h0tpoop no way ur fucking 4

  • Jeepers Creepers!!

  • yesssss she the queen of style rock!

  • @TightBlackTape I don't listen to the radio period, because of all the crap. There are a few indie bands I'm all right with, but for the most part, it's crap to me. I'm fully aware that there's a lot of music out there and there was awful music in the past too, but I mean all the "mainstream" music is crap and everything else has already been done to death. Music is a spectrum, of course, but I meant the stuff that's popular.

  • One of the TRUE groundbreakers. I love you Siou.

  • nothing wrong with being a goth...better than being yellow

  • nothing wrong with being a goth :/

  • Absolutely amazing!

  • This was one of the most well written and creative pop songs of the time. It's a bit sad that many fans didn't feel that way; they wanted Siouxie and the Banshees to be like they were back in 1981 --they wanted the more "goth" Siouxie. Which of course, she was out-growing by then. I'm glad she's back and doing new material without the Creatures, which seemed a tad bit disheveled with regard to arrangement.

  • I LOVE this song and the video is perfect for it!

  • PRICELESS!!

  • PRICELESS!!

  • The 80s is still my favorite decade for music.

  • Siouxsie was really great in 78 - she kept up with the times, though, cause the Punk Era was very shortlived

  • Well it sucked back then as well. We had to put up with the ruling class. The tarts and metal heads and dopey boy bands. At least now Indie and alternative has some respect. Back in the 80's we were thought of as freaks and misfits.

  • If we can take away any life lesson from 'Jersey Shore', it's that White and Black people should unite in a common hatred of Orange. Send Snooki back to the Chocolate Factory!

  • +0p$#!+

  • What a gem!

In a class all of its own!!

  • Ohmygosh!

    What a gem!

  • This is one of my fondest childhood tunes. Love it. love it

  • this is the first Siouxie song ive listened too!

  • was never really a huge S&TB fan, but I love this video.

takes me back to the late '80s/ early '90s.

  • K, thx for SON OF RAMBO flick for reminding me of this n a load of other great tracks from back in the day. Biggup to comments below!

  • years ago,,and still a classic (::)

  • Hey I remember this video! Mostly from when Beavis and Butthead were making fun of it. PEEEKABOOOOOOO!!! (^_^)

  • @SoldierSide77 . LOL, HUH HUH HUH, thought it was just me being a bung hole, but i remeber this too!!!!

  • PRECIOUS LEGEND .........!

  • Ohmigod. This is possibly the BEST song ever recorded (not that familiar with Siouxsie's other hits, will have to explore).

But this creepy tune is absolutely orgasmically brilliant, esp the drum fills between 1:35-1:50 and all the backwards bits! I love backwards music. St Etienne ripped this production off for the almost-as-good "Only Love Can Break Your Heart". And I'm happy to be one of the people with no friends who likes this (according to Beavis and Butthead). Peeeekaboo!

  • @peakproductionsuk HUH, yeah, i got no friends either. I think we must be dumbass, bung holioes looking for our teepees (r u threatening me?) according to the law of Beavis n Butthead lol!!!

  • SIOUXSIE , I LIKE 2. I LOVE PUNK. I LIKE AFTHER PUNK. LOOCK AT YOUR BANSHEES FOREVER. Kss.

  • genious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Somewhere the original hosts of post modern MTV and 120 minutes are sad at the current state of "MTV"

  • jeepers creepers

  • MTV died in the 90's

  • @MasterBattor Early 90s

  • I love this. :D

I have to admit though, I also like Marilyn Manson. But I know he's absolutely not goth at all ;)

  • This was put out by a side project of Siouxsie and Budgie called The Creatures it was never a Siouxsie and the Banshees track. I still have it on vinyl.

  • No! This was not. PEEPSHOW was a groundbreaking album in 1988.

  • @ProjectDeadPictures these were goths before the angry little kiddies adopted the style and turned it into lousy theatre.

  • @ProjectDeadPictures these were goths before the angry little kiddies adopted the style and turned it into lousy theater.

  • Souixsie gives me eargasms!!! :P

  • this is for the goths everywhere

  • It was a sad day when MTV stopped actually playing music videos :(

  • Reminds me somewhat of Garbage for some reason. Seems like the lead singer of Garbage could have been inspired by Siouxsie

  • @RikkuPaine01 Yes. Actually she said it in an interview.

  • People used to listen to this? o.o

  • @LadyAdornedinRed

    People still do.

  • Siouxsie Sioux, Joan Jett, Lydia Luch, Karen o are all great.

  • I tried playing this for my 18 year old niece who likes Nikki Minaj -I think she is beyond help what do I do?

  • She has such piercing eyes. I like it. :D

  • "night flight" anyone? pre 120 minutes...

  • sigh why can't we get siouxie videos remastered in HD =/

  • ah 120 minutes remember it well great show

what do we have to look forward to watch on MTV now?????

16 and pregnant isnt it :(

  • Was more of a Cure fan myself, but loved this one.

  • @usedfuzzbox

    Siouxsie is amazing!

  • Wasn't a big fan, but loved this and "Kiss them for me".

  • when we used to play this song the girls would all start making out, the s&m gear would come off the shelves and the place went crazy. nakedness was inevitable when this song came on. Beavis and Butthead can go blue ball themselves.

  • @dhoyaia hahahahahaha

  • 120 Minutes on MTV was an essential part of my Sunday night.

  • I was thirteen when Punk started out. Before that we had old artists playing glam rock, which some of it I liked, Marc Bolan and david Bowie for example. Punk was exciting because it was new and totally different to what we'd all been listening to.

  • yes RIP MTV or is it PMTV? psuedomusic television?

  • @IIIIdepechemodeIIII I think it's pseudomusic television.

  • they dont even show music videos on mtv anymore how laaaame

  • "if you were at a party, this is the kind of music you would play when you wanted everyone to leave" - Beavis and Buttheads Couch Critique of this Video

lol, personally, i like it :p

  • I Love this Band i wish i were born sooner! :-) *dances to beat*

  • jordanprincessai, I am a kind of agree with you but you have to understand that when we were young our parents used to say the same, they liked 50s and 60s, and is natural young generations will try to make remarkable remembrances but so far 80s has been the last generation made good impact regarding rock and roll revolution and the rock and roll music pillars still waiting for the next and I don't think is here yet......thanks for the great moments.

  • @nsaa105 34yo here. And where were you for 1990s Grunge/Alternative?

There we a few shining moments in the late 90s with rap-core and whatnot.

Today, unfortunately like one of the earlier posters stated "mindless emotionless crap about being a party animal/douchebag/whore" and other various screwed up pointless perceptions of human relations.

Music really did take a shit dive after the pass of the millennium with few exceptions.

    For reasons beyond MTV...

RIP meaningful music 1950's to 2000

  • When MTV still played music

  • I wish music was still like this. I'm basically totally ashamed to be a 19 year old in this day and age. All the "music" sucks now. No emotion, no creativity, nothing but mindless emotionless crap about being a party animal/douchebag/whore, or whatever. I honest to god wish I could've been a teenager in the 80's.

  • @jordanprincessai Right?! I wish i could have been around then

  • @twarilyn Me too. And if I was around back then, I totally would've dressed like the girls from Strawberry Switchblade. Look them up - their music is...eh...but their outfits were crazy. That would be me in the 80's lol

  • @jordanprincessai you're comparing the best music of that era with the worst of todays era. the "music" sucked back then, too, there were just some exceptions. Don't be fooled by the release date of this record into thinking this was what all people listened to back then, cause they listened to shit like people do today, too.

  • @AgentHomer Well I know I was generalizing. I still like virtually none of the music of today, and nearly everything I've heard from the 80's, including a lot of stuff that many people have said sucks. My favorite musical genres are obscure new wave and darkwave stuff, a lot of which many people thought was stupid or weird. You don't know my musical taste, so please don't make assumptions. Also, my comment didn't even bring up music from back then, just that I don't like today's music.

  • @jordanprincessai Well, okay, I'm sorry.

  • @jordanprincessai: Well, Siouxsis started a band. Go for it! That is how music changes.

  • @jordanprincessai - Make the best of what you can. I was in high school when this song came out and felt the same way about my generation as you do yours. I didn't know how well I had it until the 1990's showed up - which I hated at the time, but look back on fondly now....LOL

  • @jordanprincessai not all the music is how you discribed it. the reall stuff is just harder to find and isn't nearly as publicised as it was. @SpandexSaviorz has a valid point, i didn't appriciate music of today until i found some that was hidden a lil better than say Good Charlotte. and we all music has emotion, even if it's only a little. otherwise it would cease to truly be music

  • @jordanprincessai dude, just go underground like the rest of us people who want to listen to real music ;D

  • @jordanprincessai the clothes were a bit rubbish unless you were a Goth lols

  • @jordanprincessai Heck, most bands out there can't even think of an original instrument to use let alone how to use the ones they do in an original manner.

  • I became A poet because of Siouxsie. Her Lyrics Are so visual

  • First saw Siouxsie when I was fifteen at the Chelmsford odeon. Saw her again in 2007 at Bristol. Great music.

  • Tune....BOO

  • Damn that is one hot Goth.

  • isnt this the Canary starring LOUISE BROOKS? HHHHHHOOOOMMMMAAGGEEE

  • Their sound is so unique. I love it.

  • Beavis and Butthead sent me here

  • @xINVISIGOTHx Same Here

  • i love this band

  • @grunge0chick Yup me 2

  • 30 people that clicked on this video are apparently acoustically and visually challenged...

  • Siouxsie knew how to captivate with those eyes. That synthesized accordion adds to the delightful freakiness of this piece.

  • REal world was the start of the downfall of western civilization, painlesssuicide.

  • I love the Louis Armstrong part!!

  • wspaniały '88...

  • like if you think the Jersey Shore is the start of the downfall of Western Civilization

  • @painlessissuicide well, we are in the end times, ya know? lol

  • @painlessissuicide Alongside Justin Bieber...

  • @osharemind Bieber is just annoying

fake celebrities like the Kardashians and the guineas from the Jersey Shore need to be turned into a Human Centipede

  • @painlessissuicide omg u seen the human centipede to....fucked up movie eh!

and i agree people forget what real music is <3

  • @mikeman2589 how can you hear about a premise that fucked up and NOT want to see it?

    ;-p

  • @painlessissuicide jersey shore wasnt the start of cultural decline, but it did worsin it

  • @EyEnOtgAy it's between that and the Movie Awards becoming nothing but a "We Love Twilight" ceremony that marked the final death of MTV

  • @painlessissuicide It was MTV showing the Real World that was the downfall of Western Civilization.

  • @painlessissuicide western civilization was already going downhill..... but jersey shore sucks complete donkey dick

  • @Lord0Scorn That'd be something to see :)

  • @daevablacc haha ya

  • @painlessissuicide - I'm sorry to say it started waaaaaaay before that! But JS sure gave it a good shove in the wrong direction, along with the Black Eyed Peas and Justin Bieber and too many others to name.

  • @painlessissuicide Yea Jersey Shore was the start... dumbass

  • MTV - Oh reality show central! BS all that, yes!?

  • this is begging to be a remix of this and tacos puttin on the ritz

  • MTV 1981-2002 RIP we miss you...
