What a great song. I unfortunately remember this when it was new. The Archies "Sugar, Sugar" was the 1969 number one single of the year in North America. Considering The Archies is a fictional band, that is amazing. One more thing, "Sugar, Sugar" was inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, because co-writer Andy Kim is originally from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Thanks for reminding me how old I am.
