What you have been misled into believing by the mainstream media is that the US government really doesn't have a choice if Texas decides to do so.

Texas entered into a treaty with the US. The old saying, "Treaties were meant to be broken." Has a literal meaning here.

Texas retained it's constitution and the right to secede from the union in which it voluntarily entered into.

I agree with VADER, a new chapter of freedom and American evolution is likely near. I think it might include the following; a declaration of state rights over the Fed by many states, a resistance by the fed (police, and military), and a rebellion movement that will include most of the remaining police and military that are not overseas. The first one is most important because it's the only one that HAS to happen!

The State of Texas must have its own currency for independence.

Texas would also have to decide how to respond if federal troops were sent in to quash the independence movement.

Surely the mainstream media would cry racism and make up fake stories claiming these Texans are racist and hate blacks and Mexicans.

The independence movement counters that by having black and Mexican spokesmen who support Texas independence.

What's required is to look at everything that runs into Texas, like power, food, goods, etc, and figure out how Texas can manage without them if there is resistance from the federal govt to Texas independence.

Most surely the federal govt will object. It would then cut the power lines running into Texas, as well as any water or gas lines. Texas has to figure out what things it's dependent on externally, and replace those with internal goods, services and currency.

Your concerns are entirely valid. However, those are details that can be overcome with preparation. Texans are fortunate that they possess, oil, farnland, coastline, and an economy larger than many nations. Also, many foreign nations use American dollars as their currency of choice (assuming its still worth anything) I think the biggest concern would be a military confrontation with the US. Things could be tough for a while, but (hypothetically) it's possible.

I'm not sure how you equate Texans wanting sovereignty with Hitler-maybe because they were national socialists i'm guessing.Not that i'm texan but if it takes every state declaring sovereignty to get rid of the criminal laws & the iron fist of the feds then it should be considered.
