This bill was passed to give amnesty to a 'supposed' 2.5 million Illegal aliens. But of COURSE they promised this would be IT. After the amnesty (1986 if I recall) they were to protect the border 'properly'. You be the judge. How does it feel living next to these plastic Americans aka US citizens (not American nationals) in S. Florida, in Texas, in NYC, in California. @iwilkilual obviously you are extremely ill informed, yes reagan increased the deficit from 700 billion to ALMOST 3 billion, but he was left with a fast declining economy from the democratic jimmy carter, carter expanded goverment making many departments, inflation soared, unemployment started to rise sharply, and the prime rate was in the double digits, Reagan borrowed what he did to fix the goverment using reaganomics and making the goverment smaller (deregulation) :)

Illegal workers aren't competing for most union jobs, factory workers in developing countries are.
