  • That shit cray

  • great job. only thing I'd change is the bow. I'm a fan of the earlier 8 window version from season 1.

  • That compartment is difficult to make water tight and get a camera in and out.

    steve

  • If the inside is air tight then you can place a small cam just inside the windows

  • Had to come by again...still waiting for the internal cam shots lol, ..keeep up the awesome vids

  • voyage beneath the pool

  • I'm nearly finished my 40 inch Seaview. It takes up alot of room in my tiny flat.

  • Thanks so much for the kind words. I do have a cam that's water proof but it won't fit in there. Or will it? Hmmm.....

  • Outstanding... and always worth more than one view, id really love to see one with a cam looking out thru the main windows same for say the flying sub, that would be awesome

  • Thanks so much and you sure had a neat job!

    Steve

  • I was a young designer for the DDG-51 lead vessel program in the 80s. I grew up watching the Seaview. Your effort was one that really was enjoyable to watch. Its refreshing to see non-cg work with models.Your effort looks every bit as good as the movie models. Well done!

  • Cool!

"Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea", was this Irwin Allen's aquanatic answer to "Star Trek?"

  • Two props inside the nacelles. About 5-6 grand total with the build. The hull kit empty is around 1500.

  • GREAT JOB WHAT TYPE OF PROPULSION UNIT IS THAT AN HOW MUCH DOES A KIT LIKE THAT COSTS

  • Love the video. Change the "porn" music to maybe...the VTTBOTS score???

  • Hey thanks!

  • That is one beautiful model, hell, looks even better than the one used in the show. Lucky guy!

  • Thanks a lot. And yes it is a Deboer hull.

    Steve

  • Thanks very mush. I'm glad you're enjoying it!

  • @darkuboot Lovely!!!. Great surface shot camera work. btw what is a "Deboar???.

  • A nice vid, love your work

  • Paul no way I have enough boats. Yes you heard it right. Enough boats. Currently building from scratch as a kit to be a 66 inch Enterprise from the original TV show.

Thanks a lot Paul for the kind words.

  • Beautiful job Steve. Now, all you need is a 51 1/2" long, 8 window Movie Seaview as a companion.......

  • Thank you!

  • That is beautiful! Now all's you need is a giant whale, and maybe the Voyage theme might make better background music? thumbs up!

  • Funny you should say this as I'm building the Nautilus currently. Thanks so much.

    Steve
