I love Nick Tart's Robert Plant-like screaming vocals in the pre-chorus and chorus sections – great stuff. But I have to say that the whole ablum's (All Will Be Revealed) sound quality sucked ass.
Hm. Different. Not bad. Not bad at all. Not the same, but not bad. But, to me...it just feels like a different band. Not exactly Diamond Head. Still amazing, but a completely new beast. Anyone else thinkin' the same thing? Or am I just insane?
You should listen to the "Its Electric" live album, it has an surprisingly better version of this song. It sounds way "older", darker and less synthetic than this studio version.
Saw these guys live last year in Galway and they were killer. Saw metallica live too and they were'nt as good as these. Gotta be one of the most underrated bands. Pure class
Yeah, great band but this isn't the definite Diamond Head... no Sean Harris.
Diamond Head were lucky as Lars Ulrich rescued them from obscurity. There were mant other bands from this era hat were equally influencial and fantastic but didn't have a famous mentor to secure there place in rock history. Probably the very greatest band of this era not to get a major deal was the mighty Jameson Raid from Birmingham... (google!)
you half right, but METALLICA ripped off diamond head and every other 'original' metal band from the time... no equal influences, more like they were 'Directly Ripped Off'.
Metallica have ripped off many other bands, such as Budgie. But, point is, that may be a blot on Metallica, but usually it has been a good thing for some of the bands, especially Diamond Head. Without Metallica giving everyone a heads up many of these bands would have been forgotten - or never discovered at all outside the UK. I know a few bands, Trespass, Jameson Raid, Limelight etc, who would LOVE to be 'ripped off' by Metallica!!!!
Metallica to me sound more like the heavier NWOBHM bands like Tank, Raven, and Angel Witch. I wouldn't say "fuck Metallica" either as if it wasn't for them, many fans would have never discovered DH or the other NWOBHM. Metallica are the band that turned me onto DH and the other NWOBHM bands besides Maiden, Saxon, and Leppard.
Raven is a name many don't throw around anymore. Thay have a new album called "Walk Through Fire" with a decent cover of Ronnie Montrose's "Space Station # 5."
Odd how Raven is never spoken of anymore, considering they were the
band that gave Metallica their first truly big support gig on the "Kill Em' All For One" tour.
That said, how about the great Metallica start taking these surviving bands (like Raven) back out on the road to return the favor?
saw them support lizzy in exeter they were better than lizzy ,lizzy only played an hour set because scott gorham was ill waste of bloody money but the head were good

i agree, he's gotta style like sean. hey, what the hell happened to him anyway? is he working on anything? does anyone know? ill never forget his contribution to this band. it's too bad he couldnt work out his differences with the guitarist, but maybe its for the better
i have no idea. honestly, id rather have sean harris though. would just be better to see the original diamond head like. but still nick is cool. im just glad brian is still there :D
its like he disappeared off the face of the earth, but yeah, i don't mind nick, either, so far they've put out some pretty good stuff with him. thanks for responin
Brian Tatler (the guitarist of Diamond Head) is a big friend of Dave Mustaine, and Megadeth was a big influence on the new Diamond Head, and old Diamond Head was a big influence on Megadeth.
Nick Tart on vocals.
