  • I have been in search of this one for quite a while after I heard it last year and then lost track of it. Delighted to find it here. There's a refreshing difference in her voice from the usually high-pitched singing by our female singers, though I hasten to add that there's immense beauty in each style. Thanks, kpm5886.

  • wah..wah..bahut hi khoobsurat

  • Hello KPM. Hope you and your family members are doing well. Do you happen to have the duet by Lata and Manna Dey from film Makkar? I do not recall the words as I only heard it once back in 1988. I've been searching for it since then but have failed thus far. I thank you in advance.

  • Hello and thank you again for posting this ghazal. All my favorites are on YT now but this "heartaching" ghazal is something different. Although, Sapan-Jagmohan took this tune from Pt. Amar Nath's composition "Yun na reh reh kar hamein tarsariye" sung by the little boy "Master Madan" in 1938, this Shobha Gurtu voice makes it very special. The lyric is by Jan Nisar Akhtar, father of Jawed Akhtar.

    Bahut Bahut Shukriya. Khush Rahiye.

  • nice i waaaah thanks
