No, that's what they had on there when I bought it. However, I bought it used (with only 140km on it). The guy that owned it before me bought it, had a lowside crash, then returned it. I think the brake lever snapped in the crash so the guys at the shop replaced it with a CBR 600RR brake lever and reservoir. That's why my bike is all black, too, because in that crash it scratched up the tank so the shop repainted it.
I don't really know if they helped the brakes because this is the only Hyosung I've ridden and I've only ridden it in this condition, but the stopping power on the bike is good. The only issues I've ever had under braking was the Shinkos chattering and skidding a bit when I try to brake too hard before a turn.
did you add an after market brake fluid reservoir?
