yeah, they're all right, this is dina jamal. i know that, because the first time i heard this song in Arabic it was tagged as a Dina Jamal belly dance video, instead of a karim mahmoud song lol
this song [I believe] was written by Karem Mahmoud. It brings back memories of my second trip to cairo, [trying] to sing this to the guy in the music shop near Fishawis cafe. Thank goodness he recognised my burblings, its one of my favourite songs.
Samra means "the tan person (feminine). Asmar would be masculine for the tan person. hope you get this messge because it is a beautiful name. There is a great song for guys "Gameel wa asmar" which means good looking and tan.
