Any guild vallues team players in a team based game, useless pew pew healers are obviouslty not team players willing to maximize the guild potential hence they are useless and hence are cut from any sensible guild.

First off there is no exceptional players in war, the game is to simple and to static to realy alow people to shine, so it creates a verry small difference between a "normal" and a "good" player. War is extremly group based when it comes to synergy and class roles and there simply is no good place for a dps healer (dont mistake this for a grace wp though). There simply is no role a dps runepriest (as an example) can fill, they are even in the hands of a good player just a mediocre dps.
As to tanks you seem way to stuck on the pve tanking part and how tanks worked in other games. There is no siginifcant advantage in pvp for a tank to go sword and board nor does it enhance his pvp tanking (hold the line being the questionmark on that). He can easily preform his role pvp without the use of a shield.
Yes all our tanks tank pvp, that means guard, challenge, protect the ones they guard etc, its how group synergies work.
You mean beside needing 30-40% more healing then if he was using a shield, im fully aware how teamwork plays it seems like you are the one stuck in the old pve world where you need 2 out of every archetype to beat "scissors" , in my premade we roll up against other premades daily (scheduled fights ala wow arenas) and if you think theres no place in skirmish fighting (group based)for "dps" healers then you are ignorant, sure in mass zerg pvp going cookie cutter is ftw thats not pvp imo though.
