  • Wow, that guitar takes on tapping amazingly, good job man!!!!!

  • pickups?

  • @JustNHavoc 490R and 490T factory pickups. Th sound is a little bit shitty because of Guitar Rig ... that is a wonderful plugin, but it will never sound like a real amp. My real amp fits just for playing rock/hard rock. For soloing/shred I'm forced to use that sound ... no matter, I aim on the substance :)

  • @BomaMetalhead WOW......I've only seen a few people make the factory pups sound great! Great job man!

  • @BomaMetalhead what is your amp?

  • haha i love who the credits goes to :)

  • You play really clean and tight.

I have seen some reviews of this guitar and I like what I am seeing here.

Not only does it have an amazing finish but it's cheap as hell and sounds very round and ambient.

  • this video would be better if you took metalica out

  • daaaaaaaaammmmmmmnnnnnnnnn i got a ''eargasm''

    great job dude:)

  • Hey man, im definitely considering buying this guitar and have heard opinions from both ends of the spectrum and i was just wondering how long have you had the guitar? thanks

  • @SBK4EVA I don't know exactly, 8 years more or less ... and she never disappointed me

  • Hi Boma, What did you say about Nuno Bittencourt?

He is the best in play guitar??

    You are best!

    Rinaldo (From Brazil)

  • awesome skills !!!

  • Hey boma, todabia sigo esperando el solo de "rain song" de Troy Stetina, ¿para cuandoooo jajaj. suerte!

  • @matiasj2006 ... I can't understand spanish. However I thought I told you it was too hard to write the tabs of that solo (it's a really high level stuff), and recently I've not too much time to dedicate on youtube (my last video was months ago). BTW if I'll find the time, I would try to do something ... but it's not a warranty

  • @BomaMetalhead ok ok, no problem, I'm saying is, would be nice to spend time with that "Solo"because it has a lot of musical richness. and is not well known. You can learn a lot from Troy Stetina. Greetings

  • great!!!

  • If u are online u can answer me for one question i want to buy Vintage vs6 copy of gibson SG and this guitar is good for any metal even music such playing slipknot?

  • Enter the sandman?

    nem song xD ?

  • yo rocks! men wich kind of pickups do you use?

  • Good Talent !!! <3

  • I Thought a gibson SG wasn't good for shred ^^

  • @capitainebatz I think it's just a matter of feeling between guitar and player. I always played this guitar, and so for me is natural shredding with my SG. While other players coming from different guitars (ibanez, jackson ecc) maybe unconfortable shredding with a strange and completely different beast like the SG. Habit, practice and many many patience make this guitar able to shred XD

  • @BomaMetalhead Ok ! Thank you mister :P I want to buy a gibson SG because I love the sound of this guitar and actually I play with a Fender Strat (like Dave Murray :p, i can shred) that's why I'm worry to change it. I play like you Metallica, Maiden, Pantera and co, you're a good guitarist man ;) ! (sorry for my english i'm french)

  • i wish i can play like u ...

  • dude im planning to get the gibson sg .. is the standard version good enough to play metal or heavier sound as this ? you rocks man ! :)

  • @aceejay never tried the sg standard, I know pickups are different. however it depends on your taste, try both and then decide, it's the best way. you'll hear thousands of opinions, but the only thing matters is you. I feel comfortable to play metal with sg, while other people hates that. btw thanks and good luck with your research

  • full talent!

  • your english isnt perfect but your playing is like amazing keep up bringing metal too the world

  • awesome!!! really cool!

is this guuitar a guiotar that goed out of tune really fast or is it great?

    Please answer

    im thinking of buying it

  • @4evergreendayfan with new strings manteins a perfect tuning. even then hours of playing. just the g string goes out of tune a little bit on the factory models, but it's really inperceptible. is possibile to eliminate that little problem diggin' the hole of the g string on the nut, just a little bit. however it's just a trivial thing, the guitar is awesome (personal opinion obviously :)

  • Great solos dude, I like how you put Metallica in front of Megadeth =p

  • Je ne pensais pas que c'était une guitare pour jouer des solos aussi rapides :) est-ce qu'elle possède les mêmes dimensions que la standard, surtout au niveau du manche?

  • @capitainebatz ehm sorry but I can't understand french ... can you re-articulate the question in english? thanks

  • @BomaMetalhead Sorry, I thought this guitar wasn't good to play fast solos I'm agreably surprised and I would buy the Gibson SG Std but what are the difference ?

  • @capitainebatz the standard has covered pickups and, the bridge pickup, is different (498T against 490T). however special and std have a little bit different sound, and you must try both to decide your best compromise (2 beautiful guitars both).

  • GREAT !

  • woot woot!! up the Irons!! amazing covers!! love all your music! your great! Adrian, Dave and Janick would be proud!!

  • @IronMaiden9110 don't forget Kirk

  • What Guitar is that?

  • @he4dhunter1 Gibson SG special faded made in usa

  • very nice guitar playing!

  • mean... :O

  • Very good performance!

  • Very cool tone. What amp setup is that?

  • @ToneZone750 in the truth Ive not used an amp, cause I hadn't the right mic to do that, at the time. It's a guitar rig 2 plugin ... and so I don't love it cause sounds tinny, cold & unreal ... but with no money it's the best I can do

  • Your an awesome player and have real talent keep it up

  • Bravo.....farai parlare di te...ne sono certo!!

    ROCK ON!!

  • @metalcarpus onorato ^_^ grazie mille!

  • I really enjoyed this...you are an awesome player my friend!

  • @ebealienhead thanks for nice comment, really appreciated ;)

  • great playing! I'll give you 5***** for that.

  • Genius

  • really nice

  • what's pick up have you in the sg faded?

  • factory pickups 490R and 49OT uncovered pickups (R for rhythm and T for treble). remember plugin falsifies a lot the sound

  • ok thank you... do you like the sound of di marzio super distorcion?

  • @MrSymon1992 never tried before ... I couldn't say a realiable opinion

  • is your sg neck heavy?

  • compared to a fender neck (strato o tele) ... yes a little bit. compared to ibanez, other gibsons "c" shape necks no

  • Freaking awesomeness all i got to say..:P

  • hi man.....awesome..... it's a sg special?

  • thanks, ooooohhhh yes gibson sg special faded brown made in usa

  • Yeah Man!!!! Your Rock!!

I´m a follower of Iron Maiden and your work is awesome!! very very nice Solos!!

  • awesome i love it good luck

  • *w* ma sei bravissimo, sono senza parole

  • Is that 24 frets?

  • no, 22 ;) unfortunately ...

  • Your very good man:)

I really liked your version of Tornado of Souls, it was nice.

  • thanks for your comments ;)

  • never seen any one covering Wickerman better.. it was awesome..

  • ohhh too kind thanks :) ... when I play with an amp I can do it more clearly but, because of that shit of distorsion, in this version there are some imprecisions that, with the amp, are avoidable ... however thanks for your comment!

  • Megadeth solo betten then Metallica IMHO

  • great playing man, nice job, really awesome !!!!! keep em coming \m/

  • ah i see you also did an Opeth cover! cool.

  • kicking ass

  • do you use tabs or do you listen them out by ear?

  • for some solos by ear. for the others I use tabs for taking a way to play them, and then I improve them by ear

  • ok thanks

  • thats realy realy realy nice man good job

  • Awesome dude! I believe with my blood that I m a metalhead and with the same blood I believe, you did a great job. I am from Australia. I really would be greatful to you if you try some AC/DC songs though they are not metal. Angus Young is one son of a gun and I am sure you will enjoy his riffs.

  • I play ACDC almost every day, I'm not only a metalhead, I play and listen rock/hard rock and many many other kind of music. I don't post videos like that just for one reason ... sounds. This distorsion are really bad cause are plugins, and I love play rock like ACDC with natural marhsall overdrive ... my amp and mics are dead XD ... so one day, when I'll have them again, I'll think to post something like ACDC & co ;)

  • Absolutely amazing! SG's are my favorite. I just put this in my favorites. I love all the vids you have, dude. Keep 'em coming.

  • thanks dude, really!

  • shit dude

  • Son las mejores covers de solos que he oído en mi vida.5 estrellas!!

  • thanks :)

  • Tremendo guitarrista y muy buen trabajo, ademas de tremenda maquina la que tocas. Cual es tu multiefectos favorito?.

  • for these videos I can't use multieffects or amplifers ,,, we talk about plugins that aren't so good ... however when I paly live I use boss roland gt 6

  • you're very (very) good player ;)

very nices solos, how much time do you practise the guitar ?

  • I don't know ... I started autodidact years ago

  • what one is the hardest

  • probably tornado of souls....

  • we bocca sono monti.grandissimo!!!

  • uella monti quanto tempo :)

grazie mille, te lo sei beccato quello degli autograph? mi ricordo che ti piaceva uno sbotto quella song. uno di questi giorni mi faccio vivo promesso

  • complimenti!!!

  • Your phrasing reminds me of Al Petrilli, good job
