there are a couple versions of silent hill thanks to yours truely; aylessa and its very rare for people to travel from one silent hill to the next. the difference between them is really how scary they are, if i explain that ill never stop. ANYWHO alex has the ability to travel through silent hills because of his dedication to find josh, but yeah it apparantly hurts to travel round the silent hills so yeah

I barely can play this game... My stupid TV is old, so I can't play it in the day because it's fucking old and has the glass, so there's a glare, and then the brightness is around half of what a TV should be. I think that the reason you keep the knife after the dream at the beginning of the game is because you already HAD a knife with you. That much makes sense. In a weird way, you were actually in the hospital's Otherworld at the beginning after the initial dream sequence, since you are able to read memos and notes detailing things seemingly really at the hospital, like that one note saying how to kill the monsters. Your consciousness WAS actually materialized in the Otherworld at that point.

I think he was actually transported. Just like Mayor Bartlett. But the entity behind the phenomena at Silent Hill did it while you slept.

Alternatively, your consciousness was materialized in another part of the Fog World, and then the items you picked up were materialized when you returned to your real body afterwards for your benefit. After all, the goal of Silent Hill isn't really to kill you. It's to make you accept the truth and face your sins... or kill if you can't as punishment.

LMFAO Those smogs are SOOOOO much easier to dispatch once you get far enough in to receive the crowbar to replace the led pipe. You don't have to waste ammo shooting them, just bludgeon them to a pulp!! I use the crowbar more often than the knife now, lol.
