@SicSlaver -- Yeap, that's right, because omni-tools cannot act as translators, nor can there be something similar to the TARDIS' "translator microbes".

you should uppgrade your abilities more offten. you seem to forget it all the time. in first game although you can equip all weapons to all compannions they have proficency only for one or two. some have tech abilities (magic) :D

Successful side quests earn credits needed for leveling up weapons, armor, biotech....you're going to miss some of those bug things you need to scan for that one dude if you don't sometimes travel by foot rather than insta-jumping.

you can't really say that their ai sucks when you don't command them to take cover at all :/

@Jcd7214 I can command them individually on PC, but they still don't always do what I expect them to do: taking cover. So then they will just stand there like it's an open spot :/ .

In that fight you got hit by Sabotage (overheats weapons and causes health damage) and Overload (disables shields).

You can get even more side-missions by exploring places like the Citadel, hacking a computer or by visiting a system.

The amount is nowhere near that of Skyrim though, use a guide for the full list.
