  • Richie Hawtin? Very cool.

  • Love is a silly word which we attribute multiple different meanings to, while at the same time claiming it to be all powerful and significant. And its not like love matters anyway. Love is not enough to make a relationship work.

  • @DanHernbrott We should have many different words for love & people sometimes mistakenly think that's all they need but how can you say it doesn't matter?

  • @Strangerinasland You can love some one and have a relationship with them and it might not work despite the love. People act like love is all that matters in a relationship but... It doesn't really work that way. That's all I'm saying.

  • Micki, I didn't think someone could make me feel the way you do. Especially not to Ritchie...... Thank you.

  • to prove Real love, it requires paying an equal share of the rent! love is fantasy, rent is reality. get the reality set up, then the fantasy stuff can be applied!

  • u'r broke!

  • savage, sceptic, sceptical, secularist, unbeliever, unbelieving, unbooked, unbookish, unbooklearned, unbriefed, unchristian, uncivilized, uncultivated, uncultured, unedified, uneducated, unenlightened, unerudite, unguided, uninstructed, unintellectual, unlearned, unlettered, unliterary, unread, unrefined, unscholarly, unschooled, unstudious, untaught, untutored, zoolatrous

  • The term "unfortunately" is relative at best and hypocritical at worst.

The implication is that something is unideal, which in turn implies that there is an absolute set of ideals to which the topic in question may be judged by. In that context if two individuals were to hold a different set of ideals then the term "unfortunate" becomes a null-in-void standard of judgment in that it could be used by both parties with equal reasoning in regards to their personal beliefs.

    Think before you preach.

  • Non-Christians have no reason to talk about love, for it is God. Only he who is with Him should be able to talk of such a glorious matter. For the non-Christians, it is a chemical reaction.

  • @paulthetentmaker

You sir, are an idiot. I would like to refute your statement but you're evidently too far gone into the realms of religious ignorance for logical thinkers like myself to even begin to crack the shield of inscience you have deployed around yourself.

But whatever, continue living in your bubble. It doesn't particularly bother you, I just feel the need to challenge idiots when they make nescientific claims.

  • @BelfastAtheist

Humanistic religions such as atheism and logic are the path most walked, unfortunately.

  • @paulthetentmaker

You think Atheism and logic are religions...?

  • @BelfastAtheist

Yes, they are religions, because people cling to them dogmatically out of fear. Intellectualism kills intuition...and intuition is of the heart. That is where the answers to peace and truth are found. Society has largely chosen the intellect over the heart which means an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. The mind seeks balance...only the heart is capable of humility, forgiveness, and peace.

  • @paulthetentmaker

Indeed, why is an walked path a bad one? Your standards to me don't really seem to be objective, to be honest the world holds more Atheists now that it ever has. You seem to be implying that critical thinking is a negative trait to hold, when really it's quite the contrary, it's far more of a virtue than faith is.

Just because you don't like to think, doesn't mean that's true for all people.

  • Comment removed

  • @BelfastAtheist I am saying that critical thinking of YOU folks is ok. And yes, in a matter of speaking, they are a form of Idolatry. In which I mean that something is held more important than He( logic or the human being or money; etc. it is also very sad that this world has so many millions with blind eyes. And because what I say are Him( The Truth( God)), it is right for all people. Their truths are unimportant

  • @paulthetentmaker

Did my username not give you a clue who you're talking to? You're going to have to try and be a little bit more objective in future. I assert that the blinded ones are people like you, wallowing in bronze-age mythology over a little bit of critical thinking, or maybe just researching Israeli archeology which has largely disproven the bible, or maybe realizing the Egyptians never enslaved the Jews, or maybe realizing that Jeshua's time-scale for Nazareth is completely wrong.

  • @paulthetentmaker

I mention Nazareth in the hopes you might actually give google a look and put some research done over there, at the time of Jeshua; there were NO Jews in Nazareth, to this day no Judaic church (I.e the one Jeshua made up) has been found, not one stone has been unearthed there to even suggest there aws ANY form of Judaic lifestyle there. However some christians did TRY to plant evidence (how christian) but the roman coins they chose were four centuries too young.

  • @BelfastAtheist What are you talking about? I was talking about how I was right and you were wrong.

  • @paulthetentmaker

Well you put of a good defense, I'll give you that..

  • Well for an Atheist you sure are firing off plenty of sure definitions of exactly what an abstract formation of sensual reactionary self gratifying infatuated feelings are... Please write a book and see how well it sells...

  • Comment removed

  • Oh so that is my problem... you see, it's really hard for me to do all you're saying because i am so absolutely f amazing

  • love is in its core a selfish act simply because the characteristics of someone "in love" are hedonistic in nature.

  • Maybe there is a GOD and maybe not! A 50/50 chance. A chance to lose a lot or nothing. That is the question one must ask thyself. Your best bet is to love GOD for you lose nothing if there is no GOD. Someone does love you. Best wishes

  • Micki,

Can someone love something that is not there? Please answer

  • The difference between love and infatuation is reciprocation. If you're "in love" with someone who really couldn't care less about you they call it infatuation. If they happen to feel the same way, then magically its "love"n and a good thing. When someone rejects you they want to belittle your feelings to alleviate their own guilt at injuring you with their false signals ie flirting. They want to brand your deepest feelings as superficial and transitory (which they sometimes are).

  • 5 Stars and 2 Thumbs Up! Love is by far, more important then worshiping any god.

"Love doesn't hurt. Losing love or never having love is what hurts."

    -Kyle (KarbineKyle)

  • Love is just chemical reactions in your brain. It will pass, it always does. I'm in love right now with my girlfriend, but it'll pass into something different than the love I experience now. I love (pun intended) the feeling, but it's just chemicals at this particular moment, no matter how much you want to believe in eternal love.

  • Love? What is that?

  • I'm sad now..... :(

  • Comment removed

  • The definition of love from the bible means caring. Jesus died for our sins, showing that he cared for us and didn't want us to die in our sins. Think about it.

  • Comment removed

  • @sockamofo How did Jesus "die" for our sins? According to you, he's up in heaven right? So he's not dead at all, he just went home :P

  • that was good i might watch it three times

  • love is real lol whats up with

GRANDMASTERKANE lol you like on hater pils man? GTFO man lol stupid robot heartless beast!! :O jk i still wuv you :) yea not love tho xD just wuv :)

nice vid :) totaly understand this haha love is deferent for some people but you where able to say words who touched me :) and i like being touched hehehe xD ok ok but srsly gg lol

  • YOU HAVE DEER EYES!!

  • ARGH I meant good work, not "god" work... stupid being in a hurry, I feel so embarassed... this is why you should have page comments available.

  • I have wanted to make comments on your videos and page, but couldn't find a comment box, finally found this one. Thank-you for your very intelligent insights! keep up the god work! You are terrific!

  • hahaha i love these stupid athiests who believe in love, love is like religion, = fake, complete bs, all it means is you like someone alot, yea i just use women, why the fuck would i want 2 do all that shit, its the kinda people who have 2 be like everyone else that believe in love, i believe in the sun CAUSE I CAN SEE IT AND FEEL IT and i believe in just fucking eveything that walks, yea ill fuck ugly chicks too, i dont care - dam women so stupid, hahaha YOU WANT PEGGLE??? GO FUCK YOURSELF

  • if anyone doesn't believe there is an everlasting love, then their love is fake, it's called "like", and "like" is "love on a diet"..

many people mock God, not believing he has everlasting Love. they translate it as hate.

well when you reject everlasting Love, you are choosing a diet love which is "like".

so don't blame God for hate.

do you believe in everlasting LOVE??????

  • MAYBE.........your just Obsessed............and just feel like calling it Love!

  • I'd have to disagree.... "love" is un-explainable..

    kinda like an acid trip

I really think it's different for everyone...

  • oh really? it's unexplainable? maybe it's now but we are know how the brain works more and more everyday... kinda an acid trip? and what is an acid trip? yep, chemicals in your brain.. so does "love".. it's a nice feeling, a good sensation, when you are in love is great and you don't think about it this way, so do I... but love is just a beneficial biological adaptation due to we are social animals and is just a bunch of electrical impulses in your brain and chemical reactions, that is love.

  • Actually I disagree with the first statement. You don't have to feel like your partner is fundamentally better than you to be in love. Also there's a difference between love and infatuation.

Ernievzla is incorrect, love is real, but it's a psychological condition. It's not just feelings and euphoria, you don't only love someone when you feel good about them.

Humans are complicated, and human psychology is complicated. The meaning of love is also complicated and varied.

  • love is not real, its just lust mixed with a bit of euforia caused by chemicals in your brain, that eventually wears off and leaves only a sense of firendship..

  • "Love" is an idea that is different for everyone, and is always a lie bc it is an opinionated idea of what we beLIEve love SHOULD be to us.. Love does not exist, as it is unconditional support of what we "love", as to not allow what we "love" to be anything less than what it truly is.. and bc we allow what we claim we "love" to be less than what they are, we do not really love anything except our own self-interest bubble, as that is the only thing we provide unconditional support for.

  • I actually partly agree with that ^ ^

Despite being a Theist. Guess nothing can change the truth xD

  • Love is a mixture of emotion and what you should choose to associate with it is just that; what you should choose to associate with it... No one can say what love is to anyone but themselves.

  • DESIRE is a mixture of emotion and what you should choose to associate with, not "love". Love is Hate, as one cannot exist without the other. Desire is a beLIEf that you do not have something within Self, and so you look to gain that from someone else without consideration of anyone but your self-interest=(vampires/cannibals). these voids are found in polar opposites= "opposites attract". voids not filled=spite, hate, vengence. and voids are never filled bc they can only be filled thru Self

  • Sniffing turpentine achieves the same thing btw...

    not recommendable :-D

  • You have to be in fear every day to truly be in love! Are you serious? That is definately not what love is, living in fear.

  • I think I am too baby girl... your definitely something special to watch ... thanks for vids..

  • come on, don't be insulting.. you know shes a cucumber, banana girl... hahahhhhah... lol .. hahhh ........ .. aaahhhhhhh .... ....... well at least I thought it was funny.

  • ..LMFAO. what? haha.

  • this video is sweet. good for you. : )

  • i always knew you were in love with me

  • sounds like your describing an infatuation. something to relish in indeed.

love is more simple than what you are describing, more pure, and isn't restricted by sex and relationships with significant others.

but infatuations are still cool. they can be tons of fun when approached with cation.

  • Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres....now that's LOVE

  • that's awesome. is it your own or are you citing someone. Anyways... thanks for sharing. it put a smile on my face.

  • cerendepity...comes from the Bible

  • I am in love, but I'm not 100% sure my girlfriend is.

  • i never loved as well.

i fucked about 6 or 7 girls but i ldidnt loved them.

However i didnt missed it. :D

i think love is an bad thing.

  • I have never been in love. I don't believe i will ever fall in love and i think i am incapable of doing so. who else here feels as dead inside as i do?

  • hate to join you but i was going to post a similar comment. i have been in love though...but that was 4 years ago... shit sux

  • happy valentine's day

  • I don't get it!

How can doubting yourself ever be a positive thing?

  • Marry me!

  • Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I behold her as beautiful especially in the way the aspect of her face changes as she chooses her words/ideas.

  • "As a viewer I AM the customer, so I am RIGHT."

Even if you were a customer, you'd still

be wrong, as apparently (and logically)

there are other 'customers' here that think

    she's very attractive, including myself.

So until you've grown a brain, and learned

how to use it properly, go hide your ugly

excuse for a presentation in a place where

it won't bother intelligent, kind people.

  • From the looks of it, a lot of people are. Asshole.

    I think she's really pretty.

  • I am sorry but Micki looks like a DOG I can confirm.

Her eyelids droop too (UGLY lazy eyes), she has to put loads of mascara on to make herself look like she is awake.

I go on youtube to watch videos and opinions, not see people sticking their damn ugly face into the camera trying to delude themself they look half decent when they look like a DOG.

Sorry but it really annoys me, and the customer is always right as they say.

As a viewer I AM the customer, so I am RIGHT.

  • My dictionary says customer is someone who purchases goods and services from another. You are not purchasing anything. In fact, you have the option to not watch these videos

You are NOT the customer, so you are WRONG.

  • If it bothers you, don't watch it =)

  • Thank you for this video :)

Mickie, I think you need to be lucky to find

    love.

Maybe it's a matter of trust and time? Which both are very subjective in nature. You see it's like really complex yet it can be very simple. I find it difficult to set an objective model for "Love".

Actually, I think objectivity is totally out of scope here; I mean I look at my lines above and see that my comment is based on a subjective perspective/experience.

  • in this video, you look like slash remind me of Anna Friel. partiuclarily at 1:03ish lol

  • Nice video. But don't fall in love... it hurts unbelievably when you lose it.

  • I wish I was in love......I need a girl like you....

  • Right. So all those times you fell for a loser, that wasn't _really_ love, just infatuation, obsession, ... It wasn't really 'meant to be.'

Bullshit. Welcome to the human condition.. lust to infatuation to head-over-heals 'love' are the same experience at a different intensity. We make some mistakes, we move on, and hopefully we find a person that minimizes the bad a maximizes the good.

  • love this..thank u

  • I don't think I've ever been in love, then again I'm only young; love itself is not great. Its the lack of love thats tormentful (is that even a word?).

Love is like a second lung, its not a neccecity but your fucked without it.

  • The first 3 seconds of the video I actually thought I was hearing voices in my head.

"I love you, I love you, I love you..."

    O.O

  • Love is a chemical reaction in the brain, nothing more. It's never permanent. phenylethylamine, dopamine and norepinephrine. That's love. It's a cheap high. Heroin is far better.

  • righto. this video is not very good.

  • lol, agentghost did u quote that from somewhere? cos thats awesome

  • Thx. It's not a quote from anywhere. I studied a bit of psychology in college. Psychology teaches basic neurochemistry. If you ever wondered why some women will jump from relationship to relationship it's because they're sensitive to "love", which is strongest in the beginning of a relationship by the nature of how this instinct needs to work. Women are more likely to cheat for the high of "Love" while men are more likely to cheat on their partner simply for sex.

  • I think i have chemical problems ghost. lol

  • AgentGhost, I *love* your realistic, concrete view.

  • If hatred takes up our time and energy, I wonder If we all don't secretly love each other. Maybe we are just secretly sad because we feel unloved and thats why we feel angry. I wouldn't know, I'm not sure what love is anymore.

  • And the final one. a four year old child whose next door neighbour was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife.

Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman's yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there. When his Mother asked what he had said to the neighbor, the little boy said, Nothing, I just helped him cry'

  • 'Love is when Mommy gives Daddy the best piece of chicken.Elaine-age 5 Love is when Mommy sees Daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is handsomer than Robert Redford.Chris - age 7 I know my older sister loves me because she gives me all her old clothes and has to go out and buy new ones.Lauren - age 4 Love is when Mommy sees Daddy on the toilet and she doesn't think it's gross.Mark - age 6

  • Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries withoutmaking them give you any of theirs.'

    Chrissy - age 6

Love is what makes you smile when you're tired.'

    Terri - age 4

Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK.'

    Danny - age 7

  • What Love means to a 4-8 year old ?

The answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined See what you think:

'When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love.'

    Rebecca- age 8

Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other.'

    Karl - age 5

  • love is not a feeling

  • Say, if a Roman Catholic like me ask you out,

    would you agree? =D

  • Wow! She's pretty and smart.

  • Right you are. That's called being smexy. She's so smexy :D

  • Where do you think true love comes from? You may think it comes from deep inside you, which is partly true, but love was given to all one day, on a hill named Golgotha.

  • wtf lick meh balls

  • wow someone actually understands what being in love is~! :-D

  • Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

  • Perhaps it is just me but I think love is a word to describe a qualitative feeling that varies from person to person, situation to situation. It seems silly to me to add unessential definition to a word. Not that what you describe doesn't sound like a great set of emotions anyway :P. Just that they are many emotions and actions; not just love which is simply a strong form of affection.

You are the only one who has experienced your emotions. I don't think others can tell what you have felt. =)

  • This is because there is One who is Love.

  • such a beautiful qoute. i don't care if you believe in the Bible or not, you've got to admit that is a beautiful qoute.

  • Thank you, I can't take credit for it, because it is from the Bible.

  • If you think the person you "love" is better than you, then you just have low self-esteem.

  • What the fuck, man?

  • Love is a bit more complicated then that...

  • Love is just a bunch of chemicals in your body and shocks in your brain. This chick lives in fairy land....

  • she has kids?

  • I think she's like in her mid twenties..... a milf?

  • sry, I'm from Germany - what's a milf? =)

  • A milf is usually a chick considered hot that is about 40 or in her 40's.

"Mother I'd Like to Fuck" (notice the capitals)

  • thanks, nice definition :d

  • Your describing obsession with is bad for both. Genuine love is unity, you considder the other to be equel to yourself equally important, ie you are the same. Ie when you think of someone "else" you dont think of someone else but as yourself. You feel as hurt when someone else is hurt as much as when you would be hurt directly yourself.

The kind of love parents/children (should) have and the kind of love Jesus/bhudda/etc. professed.

Romantic love (or obsession) is a very different thing.

  • Thats called infatuation not love...in my opinion.

  • I love YoU! lets do it!

  • I had this with someone once, but when I turned over her world too, she ran away. :)

  • my other conclusion though, is that love is a vague word with no true meaning, i personally think "love" or "true love" is nothing more than pure understanding, the willingness and WANT to know fully and deeply about someone else, how you no longer care for your own well being but rather theirs, and its not the cringing of that feeling, people go "im in love" but their in love with how they feel, and how that person makes them FEEL, but not how they feel about that person...if that makes sense

  • my personal thought on the matter is sort of deterministic, but i think many people confuse infatuations (or lust) with love, my imagining, and it really is just a part of the imagination, of "love" or what "real" love is, is beyond anything chemical, it is your CONSCIOUSNESS wanting to actively care about that person, it has no FEELINGS no chemicals, because those are just influencers, they are there to blind, its just pure will, as i see it

  • Why should we believe sex to be desirable? After all, orgasms are only the release of "Chemicals" in the brain. Maybe we really shouldn't enjoy sex.

    These "Chemicals" can't be trusted...

  • I thought atheists believe love is just chemical reactions in your brain or some shit.

  • when you put atheists into groups for anything OTHER than atheism (the non belief in god) your doing something wrong, because well, thats the only thing OFFICIALLY that atheists agree on as a GROUP, everything else is well, everything else, however i would say that i do find that a lot of atheists i run into do see things in a deterministic manner, i know i do

  • That`s the best questions about love!!!!!

  • hey Micki.. love doesn't exist. it's a word used to describe the way we feel towards somthing. peace girl

  • hey Micki.. love doesn't exist. it's a word used to describe the way we feel towards somthing. peace girl

  • I feel none of those things you said, but trust me, I am in love.

  • hm... maybe I have felt love after all.

Not lately though, at least not romantically... I've been single for 29 months and counting. Sucks sometimes yeah but it's really not that bad.

  • Fuck him. Marry me >:)

  • Fuck the both of you!.. We'll go three ways.

  • Hott.

  • Love as fear is an interesting concept, but hardly necessary for the process of being in love. I believe myself to be in love, but I do not fear losing that love - I believe that my love is reciprocated, removing any fear that it will be lost.

  • Unconditional love means to love someone without depending on that person for your own happiness

  • Ack, so many negative and self limiting things associated with your love. But, I respect the skills of the super-pimp who could make you feel those things.

  • i was in love before

    crazy in love lol

i read a poem and the part that kept repeating was "i knew i had loved by the way i behaved" and i was like so true! love made me behave in a way that was so alien to my normal self lol

  • I want to give up.

But when I see a woman with that kind of understandng. I have hope.

  • I have to disagree with you.

I figure if she does what I say, then I'm in love.

  • there are many other videos bout attention seeking Christian whores.... im not an atheist and i dont hate christians i just cant stand haters and ignorant bitches who generalize everything

  • Good vid, I agree.

Let me go directly to my point now.

If you can't live without having sex with your partner, then you're not in love.

    And I ask:

Can you be in love without having any sexual contact with your partner?

Can you have sex with someone without being in love?

    NO and YES.

    What do you think?

  • I think my answers here are Maybe and yes. Think of the expectation of getting to know that person, cause the conversation is just as good as the sex in the beginning. And theres nothing like wondering, even if for a week or 2 what that persons mouth will feel like on your genitals lol.

  • Well done

  • iamjackswastedcomment.

  • fuck off dude and stop taking my place, i AM god

  • Thats what I am saying, my name isnt IcanbeGOD its UcanbeGOD. Honky.

  • mhmm it should be 'RAMMSTEINATORcanbeGOD' or just 'JAMEScanbeGOD' :P

  • hmm, i guess it varies from person to person. and there is no concrete definition as you gave to us. what you said applies to you. i don't experience what you said but i know i am in love. and it feels great. i dont have any negative feelings about it.

i am a scientific atheist but i think it takes the fun out of life to try and explain what love is, especially biologically. i am a senior bio student but wouldn't study this. love has its evolutionary purpose and even saying this isn't cool.

  • brain scans can offer proof for emotion, chemical interactions.

  • I said that you can experience a feeling not that a feeling is an experience...

Also, prove to me that you're soul exists.

What are feelings made of? feelings like love, happiness, sadness etc, are all basic human instincts that exist to help protect us and serve our basic needs. e.g when we feel hungry it means that our body needs food...

    They come from evolution...

like every animal can feel fear, etc...

  • very good!! It's all true...

    veramente bello! è tutto vero...

  • Very interesting video. I'm happy for you that you're in love Micki.

You should give us more of your thoughts on attachments, relationships, what you like about your boyfriend, and that sort of thing.

  • I love you, Micki...you're so beautiful, enchanting and insightful plus you're an atheist! I know I'm not worthy but I love ya still.

  • huh. the way you put this confuses the fuck out of me.

  • A feeling is something that you experience..

an emotion, like happiness or sadness..

    it is a definable experience...

    God is no such thing...

    what does God feel like?

  • If love is a feeling, so is lust. How can YOU be the one to differentiate?
