  • repeal womens suffrage

  • Wow.... that makes me pissed.

  • i was born 1952 and i recall saying the pledge of allegiance in grade 1~ that would be 1958! Under God was in it then!

  • I love it! To GOD BE ALL GLORY!

  • Theyre all like fucking robots.

  • That lady got OWNED!

  • That gave me the chills! :) amen! God bless our great country!

  • VERY cool video... On a related note, I was proud to vote for Walsh here in Illinois.

    The Fundamental Transformation of Obama.

    Redistributing his lies.

Now is the time to come to the aid of your country. So the typing lesson goes.

So the lesson goes, too, in reclaiming our country. More and more people are

becoming aware of the efforts from our administration to change our country from one of free enterprise and democracy to one of central planning and socialism.

Obama's comeuppance is in the offing. A little retributive justice is in order.

  • Way to go audience, put that Progressive women in her place!!!

  • @BlueIcesevensix

progressive really isn't an insult lol

  • @MMAenthusiastUHHE

    I never said it was.

  • Liberal (America hating) women, you mean.

  • There's women for you -_-

  • This vid is inspiring in a way that makes you proud to be an American

  • One person is a communist.

  • The moderator should be ASHAMED of herself. The people rose up and demanded the Pledge be said.

    POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!!!!

  • Isn't COMPELLING someone to say the Pledge of Allegiance, as Mr. Walsh said occurred, actually antithetical to the very spirit of freedom on which this nation was founded?

  • Comment removed

  • Why would she object? Not smart from any political perspective. " Im not FOR IT, or against it" Is she neutral when it comes to allegence to the country? Oh well, the crowd did the right thing.

  • Comment removed

  • If this was as spontaneous as it appears - hard to believe but possible - this is a brilliant piece of video.

    God Bless America.

  • he should have been the one to ask and stand up first!

  • Never been so proud of my countrymen. Wish everyday could be like this.

  • I loved how she tried to Bitch about it after wards...she got owned!

  • That totally made my day. :D

  • @ProudSpeakerofWhale Totally agree :-)

  • I just love how the people in the crowd did it anyway, they wanted it done and they didn't need anyone's permission to do it. I respect that. I respect it when someone sits down during a football prayer before the game b/c they choose not to participate in it as well. Something to be said about people just doing what is ruled by their own conscience and not needing some authority figure to tell them whats going to be done or not done.

  • And Joe Walsh stood up too! Well done!

  • That was great ,Why do liberals have to be such party poopers :P

  • What a coward this woman is... She should be absolutely ashamed of herself.

  • I refuse to say the pledge of allegiance after finding out it was invented by the socialist flag salesman Francis Bellamy. It was very clever that they changed the nazi salute to hand over your heart or people would of caught on to it. It is nice to see that woman squirm though.

  • @MelGibson420 The Pledge took root in 1892 and went viral. Bellamy was an educator (socialist?), saw no mention of 'flag salesman'. How you manufactured a Nazi connection is beyond me...... we still can't time travel. If you refuse to say the pledge, fine... but stand by your conviction or come up with a better BS story. Nazi's in the 1800's.... please!!

  • @MelGibson420 Hey mel have another drink! Francis Bellamy was a Baptist Minister who was a Christian socialist! A far cry from what you dribble you claim. He was not a flag salesman either get your facts correct. Read University of Rochester story on him. He was on the editorial staff of "Youth's Companion" and " The Illustrated American Magazine"

  • Bravo audience!

  • WOW I love this, well done people. What you did not hear was that woman speaker saying that she has been disrespected, Mwah ha ha ha! Wonderful video, make it VIRAL.

  • Gave me the chills!

  • LOVE IT!!!

  • The only word that comes to mind: AWESOME.

  • That makes me so proud. Good on them, they did the right thing.

  • literally extremist nationalists

  • Beautiful, Perfect...I LOVE IT !!!

  • I loved it. The American People are standing up & saying no more. We love our country & yes, we pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America!

  • This is so freaking awesome. I applaud every single person that stood up and said The Pledge of Allegiance. This gives me a lot of hope

  • I am a legal permanent resident and all I can say....YES TAKE THIS COUNTRY BACK...I am proud of the audience in this debate.

  • This woman is what's wrong with America! Get out and Vote!

  • Silent no more. Polite no more. Go along to get along, no more. We're taking it back. Eff you, commies.

  • anyone know where i can find vids of the rest of the debate?

  • Did you see how enthusiastically Walsh was ready to say the pledge, and how coldly and UMAMERICAN the moderator sounded as she said "No, we are not"? What red-blooded American is neither "for nor against" saying the Pledge of Allegiance?!

  • CORRECTION - COLD, not coldLY :)

  • Beck covered this tonight.. it will go viral. The crowd made a choice to say the pledge...the mod got offended. Democrat supporters hate the american people and their values...especially when they do not get their way.

  • The Plague of Women Voters has spoken.

Now , get out the bug spray and VOTE !!!

Interesting how the A.C.O.R.N. does not fall far from the tree.

BTW. The man who asked to say the pledge was not a plant.

He is a veteran who fought for us to have the rights we take for granted !

  • As far as many Americans are concerned, moderator Kathy Tate-Bradish can burn in Hell. Who would really stridently reject reciting The Pledge of Allegiance??? How 'bout a Liberal Democrat and ex-ACORN scumbag! Who worships Obama! I imagine Kathy Tate-Bradish fell in love with Obama that September day at Tom Harkin's Iowa Steak Fry when then-Sen. Barack Obama REFUSED to put his hand over where his heart should be during our National Anthem.

Two peas in a pod: D is for Disgusting AND Despicable

  • @hail55storm Again, the pleadge was altered in 1954 to include "under God", it wasn't in the constitution, that's why we have the first amendment were it says, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

  • ...looks staged actually. I bet the guy who interupted was a plant. And as for the crowd joining in, I mean seriously, who's 'not' going to stand to say the pledge when prompted? It's like the-wave, we've been conditioned to do it since k...indergarten. And what's with his clap?

note how a camera just happens to be on him at that instant (instead of the speaker no less).

  • @eggybaby84

lol. It may shock you that some people actually do love America and the values it was founded on. Maybe you should learn those values and principles.

I suggest reading Thomas Sowell's "Economic Facts and Fallacies" and "The 5000 Year Leap".

  • I LOVE THIS!!!

  • We Liberals have known of your "Movement to retake America", and we see it as not a "the people rising up to overthrow their oppressors" or whatever but a "Misguided wave of confused and angry people getting behind somebody who knows how to work up a crowd but not how to run a government". Ours of course doesn't have quite the same ring to it despite being more accurate.

  • @pierogieman5 Don't forget to send some cash to the Democratic candidate for the South Carolina senate seat, Alvin Greene. We have to get in some people like him who know what they're doing.

  • @pierogieman5 Big government flies in the face of the principles of the Constitution - that applies to Bush too by the way. Government does not produce wealth, it spends wealth lavishly. Waste, fraud, corruption - come on, you know it too. Look at the hole the States are in now. The federal government is MUCH worse. Taxpayers are angry, you're right, but with good cause.

  • @weneedmccain I didn't say without cause, only without direction.

  • @pierogieman5 hey you 16 year old snot nose, what the hell do you know? "Misguided" you say , the only clown misguided here is you you. "confused..people" you say? confused about what? Listen sonny snot nose, WE THE PEOPLE, run the government, we are the government

  • @mediaphotographer Sorry to butt in, but you said "we the people run the government" but we don't. That's the problem. We still have a representative government, and thus our electoral college votes elected individuals to represent the people. Many think we are a democracy, a true democracy is run by the people, but America is a Republic, but a representative democracy. Thus the two party system that is dividing us now because we have to chose sides, the lessor of two evils.

  • @iamlost2 Yes you are correct. I known that we are a Republic! And I believe in and trust the Declaration of Independence,The Bill Of Rights and the Constitution Good comments,Thanks.

  • According to Wikipedia, "The phrase 'under God' was incorporated into the Pledge of Allegiance June 14, 1954, by a Joint Resolution of Congress amending §7 of the Flag Code enacted in 1942," thus amounting to yet another imposition of religion by Big Brother on the U.S. populace.

  • @MickeyMudTurtle Huh, didn't know that. thanks for the info

  • @MickeyMudTurtle Oh yes, so the Pledge is now a prayer, that shoul dig in the claw of atheists.

  • @weneedmccain The "under God" part was added in 1954, so yes, it is a prayer not a pledge. Though it doesn't bother me to have that part in there, perhaps we should change it back to the way it was before 1954 so we are not divided but united as the Founders planned for us. Atheist, Christians, Hindu, and Agnostics alike.

  • @weneedmccain nope we just emit it

  • @MickeyMudTurtle Whats you point?

  • Um no. Maybe you should read the constitution again. No one is forced to say the pledge. If you don't want to say it because it has the words God in it, then don't say. Now if you were required to say the pledge, then yes. but you are not.

In fact, when liberals try to legislate the word God out of the pledge, they are trying to force their ideology onto everyone else. Which is exactly what atheist accuse (wrongly) of Christians of doing.

You're not being oppressed. Get over it.

  • @Eterna1Soldier Not wrongly. I've had children try to "convert" me before. Atheists are logical people almost by definition, we accuse you of things from experience or concrete evidence only. As for the pledge, Removing that line would not be forcing you to say anything you don't believe in. You can stop saying "under god" and still be religious. The same is not true in reverse. Not saying something is not the same as saying the opposite by any stretch of the imagination.

  • @pierogieman5 Removing the line "Under God" is pointless, and if it's okay for believers not to say it, why don't YOU just not say it, and let the rest of them say as they see fit? Why must believers alter everything so YOU won't be offended, or feel compelled to do something? No one would even notice if you didn't say the line, while others did. You could have your way, and others could have yours.. but instead, athiests insist that NO ONE say it, because they themselves won't.

  • The 'moderator:' Kathy Tate-Bradish, Democratic Party operative, significant player in the '08 Obama presidential campaign in Illinois, former member of ACORN. Impartial. Sure.

People acting spontaneously, of their own volition, without direction from above: she just doesn't get it.

Because, not getting it is her life's work.

  • @voltamp Neither do you. The "under God" was added in 1954. It's scary how little Americans know of their own history, let alone world history. Keep us stupid, so we need an electorate to vote our politicians in.

  • @iamlost2

"It's scary how little Americans know of their own history, let alone world history. Keep us stupid, so we need an electorate to vote our politicians in.

    iamlost 2 1 hour ago"

One thing you said that is right. This is Alinsky style tactics, and it is why democrats and liberal groups focus so much on our children's education.

Ironically, you don't know how brainwashed you are. Maybe you should study up on the history of progressivism. They are the most racist people out there.

  • @iamlost2

Did you know that planned parenthood was created by Margaret Sanger? A women who believed she could wipe out undesirables (including blacks) through abortion. It's called eugenics - look it up. It is a progressive philosophy. Did you know that it was progressive Woodrow Wilson who instituted segregation in the military> It was both wilson and FDR who imprisoned political opponents by accusing them on being enemies of the state. If was FDR who imprisoned over 100,000 asian Americans.

  • @iamlost2

George Wallace - democrat. Jim Crow laws - democrats. KKK - created by the democratic party to stay in power after the civil war. You know who filibustered the civil rights bill in 64? Robert Byrd, former KKK and a democrat. In fact, the biggest hurdle to passing it was getting enough democrats on board - look at the voting record. MLK - Republican. Today blacks are dependent on state government welfare - ensuring that they always vote democratic. but I'm sure you know all of that.

  • @Eterna1Soldier - VERY WELL SAID! I see you're still fighting the good fight! Thanx for sending me the link, I don't get on here nearly as much as I'd like.

  • Very COOL.

  • @mdh65120 And Obama was created and raised by communists, so what's your point, again?

  • @braininahat Obama was born in the US and raised by normal (capitalist) people just like every1 else u fucktard

  • @pierogieman5 I didn't question where he was born, genius. But you obviously have no idea who his father was or who raised him -- but then you're a moron Liberal (excuse the redundancy), so ignorance is expected. Have a nice November.

  • As a permanent resident here (yes I'm here legally) I do not say the pledge of allegiance at events and I get flak for it. Even when I tell them I'm not American.

  • @dallan007 some people are stupid. it's an oath of allegiance to America- if you're not American, or intending to be one, you'd be sort of stupid to pledge your allegiance to her. anybody flicking you shit obviously has no clue what the pledge is.

  • WOW!! Its about time we returned to this honorable tradition. I applaud the man who started the pledge and all the audience who realized it was the right thing to do.

  • America - love it or LEAVE IT! If you are offended by our pledge, our flag, or our faith, you can just get the hell on out of our country RIGHT NOW.

  • @dcs0582 Faith? Whose faith? America doesn't have a state religion, you know.

  • @dcs0582 So, what exactly do you mean by "our faith" and "our country"? Is there really a specific faith/religion that we American citizens must adhere to and follow/practice? Also, to whom does this country belong to in your opinion? I don't know about you, but I believe that this great country belongs to all the American citizens living in it. By the way, let me ask you this, did you honestly get up from your seat and stand up every morning to recite the pledge of allegiance while in school?

  • @MSH786 Yes, as a matter of fact, I i*did* stand and say the pledge each morning of elementary school just as everyone in every class did. It was followed with a (gasp!) prayer. America was founded on Judeo-Christian values. I'm not asking you to like it, I'm simply stating fact. If America's flag and America's traditions offend you, there is no law demanding that you remain in the United States of America. We have excellent international air transportation. Please avail yourself of it.

  • @dcs0582 I did too in Elementary, Middle, and High School, but probably the majority of students in my High School didn't, so does that mean that they're less American than me? And what about the non-Jewish/Christian students who did stand up and recite the Pledge, as opposed to the Jewish/Christian students that did not stand up? Would that make the Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Taoist, Confucist, Agnostic, Atheist, etc. more patriotic than the Jewish/Christian student?

  • @dcs0582 My point is simply that you don't have to be Jewish or Christian to have American values/traditions. And no, this country was not founded on one particular religion, but the "founding fathers" emphasized that all religions (or none at all) would be able to be practiced in this country by it's people. Besides, many of the other religions including Islam, Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, etc. also share the same values as Judaism and Christianity like "love thy neighbor"

  • Absolutely awesome!!

  • @mdh65120 Perhaps you should return to one of those communist countries. Enjoy the health care...

  • @mdh65120- Those of us who make up the "conservative, extreme base" now smell blood in the water. Liberal blood, like yours. We're coming, motherfucker.

  • @Raughwe What part of "Now smell blood in the water...We're coming, motherfucker" isn't extreme? Violent and Misguided, just like the Tea party people taught you to be. Go back to Wonderland Asshole.

  • @mdh65120: You are PATHETIC.

This was obviously not a planned stunt. And it was "individualism" ... they, the majority, individually decided to stand & say the pledge.

You're everywhere defending the left, regardless. Liberals could molest children on stage & you'd make up some retarded excuse for them. Grow up.

  • LIKE

  • Nice job! Americans are standing up for our country! Who doesn't have anything 'FOR' the pledge, by the way?

  • mohamedtowelhead >>>>>>clean up your language.....who said anything bout obam.......stupid is as stupid says. I can smell~~~you way over here! ewwwwww

  • Perhaps if the audience had requested to sing the national anthem of the old Soviet Union, the "lady" would have gotten more excited about it.

  • FRICKING AWSOME!!! I just did not know that one of the Eagles was in office.

  • Freakin Great . Glad someone had the guts t o bring up.

  • Wow. Powerful. I love how such a peaceful, patriotic moment can compel people. Without words of hatred or threats or violence. A group of citizens standing together in unison can say so much about a community.

  • Vote democrat!! It's easier than working...

  • Looks like the people are taking it back.

  • I don't just like this video, I love it

  • @wolfe359 We aren't "compelled" to say the Pledge; we CHOOSE to say it because we are proud of our Country and it's Christian roots, and because we truly believe that we are one nation UNDER GOD.

  • @gajopv1 Again, another one that doesn't know American history. "Under God" was added in 1954, not based on "Christian roots", in fact, that's what the founding fathers did not think a good idea, thus the first amendment to the constitution.

  • @iamlost2 <----username says it all...

  • @wolfe359 Good point.

  • I bet this pissed off some liberals.

  • ,

This stupid League of Whore Voters is just another America Hating Obama Bitch.

    .

    .

  • She spent more time saying no and trying to explain why she said it than it actually took to say the Pledge!

That really is one of my biggest pet peeves: Let's argue 10 minutes about how to perform a task that only takes 5 minutes. Just freakin' do it!

  • Love this video! But I worry. What is our country? Common language? No. Common history? No. Shared values? No. Common culture? Less and less. Shared love of soil? No. Common religion? No. Even the proposition nation cannot stand against the insistent demands of the mob.

  • In this spirit that we've seen in this video I would urge patriotic Americans whose heart was touched by the spontaneous event to search for Red Skelton's reciting and explanation of the Pledge of Allegiance. Those of us who are old enough to remember Red in a time when patriotism was as bountiful as bread are sickened at heart to witness what our country has become. "Indivisible?" now divided and Balkanized thank you multiculturalism & diversity scam. "Justice?" pedophiles walk free?

  • Nothing like the Sovereignty of the People overruling the Chair!

  • I don't like forced loyalty oaths. Period.

I'd rather swear to uphold and defend the Constitution. I don't like the "under God" bit. quibble quibble quibble.

But to see a room of citizens spontaneously deliver it, against the petulant orders of a hostile moderator, fills my heart with pride and hope.

Our flag, lady. Our country. We love it, and the liberties it was founded to defend. We're taking it back, starting 2 Nov.

Don't get in our way. Our tails are rattling and our fangs are out.

• @50srefugee Then dont say the under god part when you say the pledge. Its that simple fool

  • @jamessk82001: "dont say the under god part when you say the pledge. Its that simple fool"

In fact, I don't. I'm not that big a fool.

Did you read my whole comment?

Do you understand that I, myself, identified my objections to the words as "quibbles"?

Do you understand that I think the moment captured here is wonderful, in that it shows Americans expressing their support of their country, however poor the words?

Try not to insult those on your own side, OK?

  • @50srefugee such as "don't tread on me."?

  • That was awesome, stand up for our country YES!!!!!

  • America, I love you and will fight for you until my last breath! My pledge to you is in my heart and EVERY American should voice this at EVERY public assembly!

  • Thank you for exposing them! Blessings!

  • Why wasn't it part of the proposal? It can onlly be said in the beginning?

Too bad, lady, they pledged their allegiance anyway! Good for them.

  • I wonder what party the moderator will be voting for this year.... I have a pretty good idea but don't want to say anything I don't know for sure.

  • In a Liberal's mind, this comment isn't condemning: "I have absolutely nothing for or against saying the Pledge of Allegiance at the beginning of something like this, but that has never been part of...."

So, you have nothing to say FOR saying the Pledge of Allegiance here? Nice, Liberal, nice.

  • @braininahat Look, we have to stop taking sides. Our country is dividing and in that Allegiance, it says "one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all." it's a take of "united we stand, divided we fall" - we need to stand together as Americans and not be not be far right or far left - one party, one nations. We are smarter know that we don't need Representatives, but a true democracy. I love America!! Please don't let her down by breaking her up.

  • @iamlost2: "Look, we have to stop taking sides. "

That would be grand. Unfortunately, we have a large contingent, known as progressives, who are actually socialists or outright communists.

They are avowedly opposed to the American way of life, and the communists in particular specifically plan to crash the American government with overwhelming service demands.

They've defined the sides and set the stakes; those of us who love our liberty must oppose them.

  • @50srefugee I hope that doesn't mean the extremists like the tea baggers, the far right or left. I guess we have different, not "we" as in you or me, but "we as Americans", opinions and therefore perceptions are subject based on which "side" one is on. I'm on American's side, but no one is running for Her.

  • @iamlost2: "extremists like the tea baggers"

That label is instantly divisive. The only thing most tea partiers want is for the government to stop growing so radically beyond its Constitutional limits, to stop interfering so drastically and intimately in our lives.

Progressives, which includes far too many Republicans these days, have succeeded in making extremist changes without following the amendment process.

    We just want that stopped.

"Don't tread on me" does not work as a pledge.

  • This make me tear up as we find our backbone to save our Country. Make this go viral. It is an excellent message that we aren't going to take it anymore!
