honestly, phils commentary is detracting from the playthrough at this point. It's only funny the first 9000 times he bitches about the game or if it's a game like body count that's just comically bad.

OK, at first you can think it's just Phil.xD But when he says it ever 5 sek it looses it's charm. MGS2 he sucked at to... but still it was more entertaining and gave me a good laugh, this game... it was more sad to watch... Well, i watch because i suport Phil and he still has some funny lines, and a good laugh extend's your life.x)

Would phil be entertaining to watch if he did everything perfect? No. Everyone has there own style and I find the MGS playthroughs to be most entertaining.

@DSPGaming Who ever said they were in Russia? The game said Soviet Union, which was a big chunk of Europe and Asia back then. Russia was never specified.

i may be wrong here, but the game takes place in the USSR which isnt just Russia......which might explain the jungles.

Phil's confusion was guaranteed from the start, all because they never explained the bit about:

"I like MGS1!" "I like MGS2" "I like MGS3!"

How is anyone supposed to know (the FIRST time playing it) how game breaking such a simple choice at the beginning of the game would become? They barely give him advice, and never really explain anything at all. So people can blindly throw hate around, but this time, I'm sorta thinking that it's the game's fault for his bad knowledge about common things.

@Ultimatestrife Where did the game force Phil not to use the codec in order to receive tips and tricks to get out of difficult situations. The mere fact that the game didn't spoon feed Phil all the information he needed while having that very same info available from the start via codec, speaks to Phil's pig pigheadedness. You can't blame the game for his lack of a gamers common sense.

It's sad that when he started playing the game he was for the most part doing things properly; until lately he's settled into a pattern of rushing to hastily force progress, getting spotted and then simply sprinting through the maps. The game really shouldn't let that fly though.
