Rick's testimony is an amazing picture of the love and grace God gives to us during the trials we face in life. I have a dear friend who is a Christian Radio Personality who just lost a 5 year old son in a tragic accident. I know this testimony will be a help to him.

When he got the call about his son he had just gotten finished speaking at a youth conference. I was at the conference and when we heard the news, the whole atmosphere just changed. I know that I have been totally changed by this expierience. I still pray for Rick and his family.
i was at the conference last year that he was speaking at when his son died. it was so sad. i just want to say that i am in prayer for his family. today (1-19-09) marks the one year anniversary of this tragedy
his family and i go to the same church. it's tragic that his son died, but they are using that swimming pool to glorify God instead of blaming Him for what has happened. That takes faith and courage.
This is very shocking! I had been a fan of Rick & Bubba for years & watched their show when it was on Turner South. I buy their books. But I haven't listened lately and finding out that one of Rick's children had died totally shocked me!

He somehow drowned in their family pool. Thats all I heard in the news last year. They didnt want to discuss how it happened b/c they didnt want to blame his wife or God...they wanted to focus on the joy that Bronner had brought them and speak of God's love.

I lost a son in Huntsville in 1993. It was one of the worst hurts that a mother can experience. I think about him every day and I have to admit that his death changed my life. Thousands of homeless people have been given a second chance because of his death. Isaiah 40:31 stuck with me and gave me strength and it will for you. I have listened to you and know that you are leaning heavy on the God you serve and our prayers are with you.keep leaning on the everlasting arms of God
We have friends who lost their child 4 years ago and it was so hard for all of us to deal with it. She was a young woman after God's heart. He called her home on morning. The loss of her left a gaping hole in our lives, but with the Lord's love we know that we will see her again one day. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I would like to share with you a testimony of Gods love and His mercy. My daughter gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, who my husband nicknamed "cornbread". Cornbread arrived on Jan.9 at 9:39 in the morning and at 1:30 that afternoon my daughters husband's 2 year old nephew was killed.
At his funeral my son-in-law surrendered to Jesus and so did Little Aidens father. Gods word is sure. Bronner is a warrior for Christ and so is Little Aiden What a Good GOD we serve

Wow...I have been listening to you and bubba on the rick and bubba show for years. I think this has impacted my life even more. My brother died when I was 6 years old he was 23. There was no way my dad could have done what you did..The strength of you and your family amaze me. Later that day, the day of my brothers funeral, we almost lost my dad. Thankfully God was present. Thank you for realizing what the purpose of your loss is. My parents lost three children in a house fire before I was born. One of the children was one in a set of twins. My sister who lost her twin is now a missionary and tells people about Jesus. The loss shaped her love for Jesus. I am glad you have realized the purpose for your loss also.

This was the most incredible thing I've seen in a long long time. I didn't realize how hungy I was until God used Rick Tuesday. Rick is talented, but this was not Rick! Tuesday was a life-changing event for me.
When I heard the news about Bronner my first thought was what an opportunity for the Burgess family and the entire show to let everyone know what it's like to have a relationship with our Lord. How he's not only there when times are good but how he will hold you up and work through you when times are bad. You have taken this opportunity to a level I never even imagined. Praise the Lord!!

I have always admired the way Rick and Bubba both stand up for Jesus and are not ashamed of their faith. The last three days have been life changing for many, including me. This is without a doubt the most powerful, moving and at the same time easy to understand witness I have ever seen or heard.

Watching Rick at Bronner's, funeral is somehow so much more inspirational than it is saddening. To see a man with so much faith in God and his plans,is so uplifting that it literally shows the power of Christ and what he can do for us in turning "normal" men and women into soldiers of his word.
This child and this father have done so much to open the eyes of so many of us.
What a wonderful sight to see the love of a Christian father. The world needs to see more messages just like this. Rick's testimony is an amazing picture of the love and grace God gives to us during the trials we face in life. I have a dear friend who is a Christian Radio Personality who just lost a 5 year old son in a tragic accident. I know this testimony will be a help to him.

When he got the call about his son he had just gotten finished speaking at a youth conference. I was at the conference and when we heard the news, the whole atmosphere just changed. I know that I have been totally changed by this expierience. I still pray for Rick and his family.

i was at the conference last year that he was speaking at when his son died. it was so sad. i just want to say that i am in prayer for his family. today (1-19-09) marks the one year anniversary of this tragedy

his family and i go to the same church. it's tragic that his son died, but they are using that swimming pool to glorify God instead of blaming Him for what has happened. That takes faith and courage.

This is very shocking! I had been a fan of Rick & Bubba for years & watched their show when it was on Turner South. I buy their books. But I haven't listened lately and finding out that one of Rick's children had died totally shocked me!

Rick, I don't know you or share your faith (I'm Muslim) but when I chanced upon this video, it brought tears to my eyes. I pray to Allah to give you and your family the strength to get through this. Bronner is in heaven with Prophet Abraham; it's where all the children go in the Islamic faith.

He somehow drowned in their family pool. Thats all I heard in the news last year. They didnt want to discuss how it happened b/c they didnt want to blame his wife or God...they wanted to focus on the joy that Bronner had brought them and speak of God's love.

(rumplins) did you ever stop to think that maybe because he is living in the truth that Jesus is the one that he is drawing his strength from. If we would supress the truth like yourself than how much more tragic would this story be. What would be the point of all this. The fact that this man can stand on the stage and not crumble under pain and anguish is a testemony to the power of God.

I lost a son in Huntsville in 1993. It was one of the worst hurts that a mother can experience. I think about him every day and I have to admit that his death changed my life. Thousands of homeless people have been given a second chance because of his death. Isaiah 40:31 stuck with me and gave me strength and it will for you. I have listened to you and know that you are leaning heavy on the God you serve and our prayers are with you.keep leaning on the everlasting arms of God

We have friends who lost their child 4 years ago and it was so hard for all of us to deal with it. She was a young woman after God's heart. He called her home on morning. The loss of her left a gaping hole in our lives, but with the Lord's love we know that we will see her again one day. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Great message.You are right on the mark when you say that the world will be perplexed. On the way to the orthodontist this morning my daughter asked if the show was live and I said yes. She then asked " how can he(Rick)be back on so soon?",I gave the exact same response as was in your message about how God is using what the world perceives as a tragedy to save souls and how your faith assures you of your future with God and with Bronner.I then went home and pulled up your tribute on Youtube.

I would like to share with you a testimony of Gods love and His mercy. My daughter gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, who my husband nicknamed "cornbread". Cornbread arrived on Jan.9 at 9:39 in the morning and at 1:30 that afternoon my daughters husband's 2 year old nephew was killed.
At his funeral my son-in-law surrendered to Jesus and so did Little Aidens father. Gods word is sure. Bronner is a warrior for Christ and so is Little Aiden What a Good GOD we serve

You know, when I first heard of this, I was deeply hurt and sad for this family. But, when I came to this sight on Friday, and then again today, all I could do is thank God! OVER 300,000 people have been exposed to the saving Grace Of GOD, in a little over a week after this precious baby's appointment with the Lord!! Revival is taking place in our midst!! I believe change is on the horizon, repentance and turn-around!! Praise the Lord!!

Wow...I have been listening to you and bubba on the rick and bubba show for years. I think this has impacted my life even more. My brother died when I was 6 years old he was 23. There was no way my dad could have done what you did..The strength of you and your family amaze me. Later that day, the day of my brothers funeral, we almost lost my dad. Thankfully God was present. I am currently 21 and attending Faulkner University in Montgomery working to Graduate December 2008!

I haven't been as thankful for all of the God's blessings as I should have been. Instead I stand moaning and groaning when trying to climb a hill of small obstacles. Here, this man has faced and overcome a mountain and remained strong-spirited. This has given me a complete reality check. I have prayed and prayed for Rick and his family. Thank you for realizing what the purpose of your loss is. My parents lost three children in a house fire before I was born. One of the children was one in a set of twins. My sister who lost her twin is now a missionary and tells people about Jesus. The loss shaped her love for Jesus. I am glad you have realized the purpose for your loss also.

WOW! I am so ashamed of the pathetic excuses I have used to keep from doing the Lords work. All I can say is Satan watch out cause here I come. I have put on the WHOLE armour and I'm ready! This was the most incredible thing I've seen in a long long time. I didn't realize how hungy I was until God used Rick Tuesday. Rick is talented, but this was not Rick! Tuesday was a life-changing event for me.

When I heard the news about Bronner my first thought was what an opportunity for the Burgess family and the entire show to let everyone know what it's like to have a relationship with our Lord. How he's not only there when times are good but how he will hold you up and work through you when times are bad. You have taken this opportunity to a level I never even imagined. Praise the Lord!!

Bless you Rick Sherri and family!! My life has changed. Instead of walking behind our Savior at a safe distance I have run to the front line. Thank you Bronner for going before us to make the gardens of heaven full of giggles and beautiful smiles. Who would not want to feel that feeling that a Christian can feel in their soul. I have always admired the way Rick and Bubba both stand up for Jesus and are not ashamed of their faith. The last three days have been life changing for many, including me. This is without a doubt the most powerful, moving and at the same time easy to understand witness I have ever seen or heard.
Praise be to the Almighty God! How can anyone doubt his existance after seeing this?

Our hearts go out to the Burgess family. We too are amazed and inspired by their strength through all this. I am grateful to all the people on every level who have made their radio broadcast and this video possible. I know many people have come to know the Lord through this tragedy. I cannot begin to express my feelings on this video. All I can say is that it has made me re evaluate my life, things I do, people I hang with and everything in between. Rick you are right my friend. There is no way that you can do this without God's direction. I admire you for what you stand for and you are also a person that I can say I will strive to be more like. I am SO THANKFUL that I serve the same RISEN SAVIOR that this man serves. I am so glad that the same faith that helps Rick give this message, is given to me through our loving Lord, Jesus Christ. I cannot explain what power this situation has given me. May we always serve our God with fervor. Please, if you are in doubt, ask someone who Jesus is. There is nothing better than a personal relationship with Him.

As a father of three and a believer. I am taken by the extreme faith gifted to Rick Burgess and family.
Watching Rick at Bronner's, funeral is somehow so much more inspirational than it is saddening. To see a man with so much faith in God and his plans,is so uplifting that it literally shows the power of Christ and what he can do for us in turning "normal" men and women into soldiers of his word.
This child and this father have done so much to open the eyes of so many of us.

What a wonderful sight to see the love of a Christian father. The world needs to see more messages just like this. Bronner will surely be missed, but has touched countless lives in such a short period of time. I hope the message that comes out of this tragedy will continue to spread through out this country and continue to soften the hearts of Christians and non-christians alike.

Wow! This little 2 year old is smiling in Heaven! I am so sorry for the loss, but look what Heaven has gained. Yesterday had to be so tough and gloomy for this family, but I can see the sun shining through!! What a powerful testimony for the people of this world!! My prayers for a better life, a changed heart, and a peace like never known to everyone reading this!
