  • How much WHP are you making? and how much did the setup cost?

  • This is sick.

You got any build pictures/threads on forums?

  • Damn That Dinan E30 Pulls

  • OMG that 97 m3 got played YES thats mint.

  • Very nice. I drive a cinnabar red E30

  • Nice! my E30 looks almost identical to this! Mines only a 318i but, i am going to put a new engine in it sooooooooooooooon.!

  • are you running just a dinan chipped motronic ecu? or are you doing something else to manage fuel/spark?

  • is there much turbo lag on it?

  • naw...

  • nice. any engine pics? what kind of setup are u running.

  • I`m going to use HX40 holset just because of the turbo lag. Feels funny

  • e30s give me a bonner

  • fo sho.

  • nice car dude were do you get the turbo kit

  • long live e30's!!!!

  • That is a fast E30 BMW 3-series. IS it original Dinan?

    Gustav

  • Yes it is...

  • sick video. just showed my friend it for motivation to turbo an e30. hows the e39 m5 treating you?

  • can anyone explain to me about the difference between Whp an HP

  • WHP = Wheel horsepower which means how much HP is actually going to the ground. This is really the only real way to measure a cars' performance imo.

HP can be measured at the crank/flywheel or known as BHP which means brake horsepower. This is the power an engine produces based on an engine dyno.

  • thanks for the answer, because i know m5 e34 has 300+ HP, so i was kinda confused. by the way freaking amazing car u own, the e30 is my fav bmw car

  • WHP = Wheel horsepower ie hot much it is making at the tires. HP can be measured at the crank or flywheel. WHP is the only thing that matters.

  • im gonna see if i can get my car a dinan setup!

  • LOL didnt see a turbo?

  • Huh? It's a bottom mount... the wastegate is clearly visible as well

  • what is the song name please

  • First one is AC/DC - Are you Ready

Second one is Breaking Point - Show Me a Sign

  • HELl ya thats fuckin sweet

  • I want a Dinan e30. :[ I have a '87 325 and i love her to death. I'll get the Dinan chip though. :D

  • Gotta shift faster than that!.

  • very very goodd

  • leave me aloooooooooooooooone

  • :bigshark

  • its no e30

  • oh herrrrow there Tom

  • how lame... why show a car that hardly take on a stock m52? thats pathetic.....

  • You're a fucking moron. Stock M52? Are you kidding me? That "stock M52" smoked M3s all day long. Look at my other videos before speaking asshole.

  • I guess you have a Lada, right?

  • What?

  • I mean that guy that talked shit. He`s just jealous. Your car is f*ckin nice! And it´s a very fun car. ;)

  • Hey I recently finished doing a turbo set up on my 1989 325i. What did you do for pcv? Because the m20 doesnt have pcv really I mean it has that tube that goes to warm up the throttle body, but it has a pressurized crankcase so I am wondering what dinan did for you? Also what injectors are you running? Thanks. Sick car by the way

  • I couldn't quite tell my E30 sounds similar, but did u have a stock exhaust on that?

  • umm no... I don't remember what I had on it at the times of these videos to be honest.. I went through 3 different exhaust systems in about 3 months and then settled on a Dinan E36 M3 exhaust custom fitted on it

  • Is that a 2.5l engine with turbo? Nice job!!

  • yes... 2.5l SOHC with a 8:8:1 compression ratio running around 10-12psi on wastegate

  • What other conversions did you have to do? Did you just add a turbo on stock pistons and head?

  • I didn't build the car, Dinan did. But basically, it's a stock motor. Should be able to hold 17-18psi stock in my opinion..

  • nice car always wanted one but bieng 20yo and a bmw parts will be expensive. what has been ure experience with it as far as parts cost, maintanace, reliablilty and availability of aftermarket parts.

  • E30s are VERY reliable. Engine wise, M20 motors will run forever and as long as you have a good tune, turboing them isn't that hard on them since the CR is around 8:8:1. Parts wise, they're abundant everywhere and no more expensive then some domestic and imports. Very easy to work on as long as you have a manual.

  • +1 Thinking about a turbo for my m20. You most likely are part of r3vlimited or e30tech, correct?

  • yeah but I don't spend much time on those forums to be honest...

  • Yeah same here, I use to but now I only go on when I need information. well, good video, enjoy the e30.

  • Get rid of those rediculous rims man

  • I did.. I since put on Alpina 17" Classics

  • oh shit man I thought you were saying that if like i were to put this on my myspace you would file a lawsuit but if that news site uses them your going to file a lawsuit. I apologize. But I want to turbo my 4 door E30

  • no biggie... it's a long story but ultimately I do not want them using my videos because they're using them for street racing stories here in Spokane which is total bs..

  • Nice job guys, good footage

  • ThAT is a great video. Nice camera work, music, and film editing!

  • you should really enlighten yourself and learn a little before speaking. Were kits being assembled for 1500 and 2000 for these cars in 1992? Did I pay 20k out of my own pocket? Hell no. I'm the 3rd owner. Dinan stuff is almost MUCH MUCH more expensive and that's because this turbo kit still carried a full factory warranty, something no other company can provide. I don't buy Dinan stuff personally, but this car is truly designed in a manner that is unbelievable for its day.

  • Nice ride. bump

  • Pretty nice going straigth, does it turn?

  • oh it can turn :D

  • holy shit man! ive got an E30 318i... whats the cheapest kit i could buy?

  • How much did the turbo kit cost?

  • In total, it was around 20k when done in 1992 which included A LOT of stuff. This was a custom one-off at the time and not a production kit. Everything was designed and fabbed just for this car.

  • Great car you have there. what mods do you have?

  • awesome.. how much HP estimated on the E30

  • mixed results on different dyno's... as low as 200rwhp and as high as 280rwhp with equal ft-lbs... all runs done with a leaky manifold gasket...
