@xxxcookiieniixxx No, it needs the flash in order for the pictures to not turn out black. So, you gotta make sure that the things you're taking pictures of are in range of the flash.

Hate to say this, but you didn't get a very good deal if you bought it from Urban. There the camera alone is $130, and to buy a couple of packs of film is another $30. I got mine on eBay for about $140 including the camera and and 10 packs of film. I hate Urban. They always overcharge.
