I hate closed source vendor lock-ins, no matter who it is. Apple does not respect my intelligence or my liberty. Buying a Mac is tyranny in my opinion. I am consistent. I hate both Apple and Microsoft because they are both jerks. Apple II was great. When Apple ditched the II, they were never the same again. I use a PC. I don't like it, I just put up with it. I also use Linux. It is not great, either. I struggle to config thigns, but when I solve things, I feel great.

I can get a pc for $700.00 and it has about 4 gb of RAM and a 400 gb hard drive. When you say they get viruses you know you are talking about Windows XP. Windows 7 is so easy to use. The mac is a disgrace on a computer.

@steven4570 i answered that in the post you replied to...... and no, the pc might technically be faster in terms of specs, however, the integration between the mac hardware and mac software is much more solid then the microsoft counter point. it makes it work better, faster and more efficiently. it also makes the software much more stable. i am yet to have anything crash on my mac. ive had it for 2 years and it has so much shit on there its a miracle it doesnt explode haha mac = long term speed
@sportsman6171 final cut pro is REALLY slow on macs, the render times are really bad they dont optimize it for the hardware that its on. but macs do crash and they do have problems, check out the mac forums its all there

@steven4570 yes it does..... i said because the mac's software and hardware work much better together. the hard ware is made so that programs like OS work on it. microsoft's hard ware is just that. its made to be very fast but not made to be used with different programs. apples products will retain their speed for much longer periods of time.

@pokemondude121 I still use my old Dell from 2001 for internet, word processing, and file storage. It doesn't do most games, but I haven't done a lot of PC gaming in a long time as it is and it does those things extremely well. (just to note, my "gaming" machine is my laptop, and it's only about 3 years old)
And hell, my parents still have their old Tandy and it still works. That was back when we were considered rich because we had a hd put into it (8mb, wooo!)

The old dell can still do the flash and non-HD Youtube videos, but not so much the java and flash games anymore. The only upgrade it's gotten was a video card upgrade and a Ram upgrade in about 04
I think it's lame to hate a rival product like Apple or Microsoft. I think it's more of a personal preference or opinion from past experience. I prefer macs because I've had a bad experience with Windows, but that's just my experience. Don't hate on a product you've never used. I use 4 Different OS's and I like Em' all, I use My Mac 64 bit OS for Web Development, I use Windows 7 64 for Gaming, I use Linux (CentOS) for a couple of Call Of Duty 4 game servers that I run, And I run Mandriva 64 2010 Power Pack on all 4 Of My notebooks ;)I think ppl should focus on what they agree on intead of focusing on what they disagree with.

I have a mac, but developers can have a hard time with it, cuz although the development environment is sweet and well-documented, publishing an app for the iphone is really annoying. I made an app who got rejected 2 times, and their reason was really stupid: I had a little picture in the instructions menu of my game, and it was the picture of an iphone. Apple said that picture wasnt allowed to stay in my app cuz its their product. I mean wtf? A picture of an iphone on an iphone is forbidden?

No one(intelligent) cares what you have to say about two rival(rival?) operating systems. OS is for many things but mainly for people with little to no technical experience. Example? Apple MAC's adverts give of false information. One advert stated that Windows operating system is so bloated and fat because of all the updates. Windows XP is apparently a very bloated operating system. It has been released for 5-6 years now. Okay it has three service packs. OS X leopard 10.5.6 is just a discreet way of saying OS X leopard Service Pack 6. It already has 6 service packs. Apple can chat s**t to. Which is a shame because I like the GUI and the layout of their desktop.

I've tried to stay neutral with the mac vs pc debate, but I just can't. I just built my new computer for around 2100 dollars. If I configured it at the apple store, it would be easily twice as much, if not more. Plus it wouldn't be as good. Macs just don't come with the options and parts that PC's can have. Not to mention most of my applications wouldn't work on mac.

@pokemondude121 I still use my old Dell from 2001 for internet, word processing, and file storage. It doesn't do most games, but I haven't done a lot of PC gaming in a long time as it is and it does those things extremely well. (just to note, my "gaming" machine is my laptop, and it's only about 3 years old)
And hell, my parents still have their old Tandy and it still works. That was back when we were considered rich because we had a hd put into it (8mb, wooo!)

The old dell can still do the flash and non-HD Youtube videos, but not so much the java and flash games anymore. The only upgrade it's gotten was a video card upgrade and a Ram upgrade in about 04

I think it's lame to hate a rival product like Apple or Microsoft. I think it's more of a personal preference or opinion from past experience. I prefer macs because I've had a bad experience with Windows, but that's just my experience. Don't hate on a product you've never used. I bet there are people that hate macs because they may have had a bad experience and that's fine. Why does everyone need to hate on everyone's personal opinions/experiences?

The fact that people are offended by swearing isn't actually something you can call good or bad. it's neutral like every other word. it's just a word that we made up to describe something else that we made up or naturally do.

i love apple too but windows can be better and apple can be better its the pros and cons of it. apple has virus free protection, but it is a little overpriced. windows is cheaper, more affordable, but can very easily get a virus. so if you think apple more expensive, better stuff, windows more affordable but very easy to break down. plus the cost of repairs and stuff. i mean come on my xbox broke down and it took a month to ship and cost $100. so apple i cant wait to see u tomorrow morning

I use 4 Different OS's and I like Em' all, I use My Mac 64 bit OS for Web Development, I use Windows 7 64 for Gaming, I use Linux (CentOS) for a couple of Call Of Duty 4 game servers that I run, And I run Mandriva 64 2010 Power Pack on all 4 Of My notebooks ;)I think ppl should focus on what they agree on intead of focusing on what they disagree with.

I have a mac, but developers can have a hard time with it, cuz although the development environment is sweet and well-documented, publishing an app for the iphone is really annoying. I made an app who got rejected 2 times, and their reason was really stupid: I had a little picture in the instructions menu of my game, and it was the picture of an iphone. Apple said that picture wasnt allowed to stay in my app cuz its their product. I mean wtf? A picture of an iphone on an iphone is forbidden?

If you want the debating to stop then why do you make videos such at these? It just causes drama and controversy. No one(intelligent) cares what you have to say about two rival(rival?) operating systems. OS is for many things but mainly for people with little to no technical experience. Example? You can't even open an Apple system without voiding their warranty. Fuuck that, brah. I have a MBP and use it daily. Also have windows installed. For gaming/tech use, OS X cannot compare.

Apple MAC's adverts give of false information. One advert stated that Windows operating system is so bloated and fat because of all the updates. Windows XP is apparently a very bloated operating system. It has been released for 5-6 years now. Okay it has three service packs. OS X leopard 10.5.6 is just a discreet way of saying OS X leopard Service Pack 6. It already has 6 service packs. Apple can chat s**t to. Which is a shame because I like the GUI and the layout of their desktop.

you can't argue for a mac because you will always lose. there are many subtle things macs have that makes them very annoying, and not worth buying. spend 1000$ on an annoying operating system with a weak computer. macs are the idiots computer. they crash more than a dell windows machine. I've tried to stay neutral with the mac vs pc debate, but I just can't. I just built my new computer for around 2100 dollars. If I configured it at the apple store, it would be easily twice as much, if not more. Plus it wouldn't be as good. Macs just don't come with the options and parts that PC's can have. Not to mention most of my applications wouldn't work on mac.
And to those fanboys who end up installing windows on their macs anyways because your apps don't work otherwise, ROFL@you.

Macbooks (aka Crapbooks) are:
1) Over-rated/hype("hey everyone, I own a Mac)
2) Over-priced (1.5 times)for entry hardware
(hey look, I have an 'awesome' "Intel Integrated Graphics")
3) Flaky, keyboard touch (i have seen many Mac fanboys struggle with typing, however they refuse to admit mac keyboards suck)
4) Glossy, cheap PLASTIC look/built.

First of all, this is youtube. Youtube comments are the archetypal equivalent of the free world plus anonymity. Secondly, almost all 15 and 16 year olds are well accustomed to swearing, especially if they are on the internet. Finally, saying "screw you" is the same as saying "fuck you", except your parents will yell at you for choosing the latter.
