  • EL NEGRO ES MUY BUENO PARA EL JAZZ LATINO PERO EL NEGRO NO HACE LO QUE ANTONIO PUEDE HACER, ANTONIO ES MUCHO MAS TECNICO Y TIENE MUCHA MAS INDEPENDENCIA Y SU ESTILO ES MUCHO MAS COMPLICADO QUE EL DEL NEGRO Y SOBRE TODO MUY ORIGINAL. SALUDOS!!!

  • He is great! but I still feel like he is following the same recipe of influences..El Negro left foot concept, the jazzy licks and the Dennis Chambers paradiddle madness at the end, Still one of the greatest today though he still discoverying his own style..guys like Zach Hill and Chris Daddy Dave are defenetly breaking the Status Quo and not caring about other people licks and style... Go for it Antonio!

  • Adoro que al final de cada solo se aloca mal pedo!!!

  • Antonio is so unique. His independence is mind boggling. One of the truly great drummers of our time. If you havent studied clave and latin music it is tough to feel the groove. Trust me its there.

  • excelencia!!!

  • Damn! My arms got tired just watching him.

  • Klasse

  • Viva Mexico !!!!!!! Viva Antonio Sanchez

  • eres grande antonio

  • when drummers do solos they are hardly ever musical because 95 % of the time they play with other instruments and sometimes just playing in the pocket can get very annoying and boring so when they get a chance to do a solo they get to play whatever they want

  • sorry but complicated does not mean good.

  • @Percussionfish But that's good.

  • focused!!

  • Thank you for posting!! he´s got to be the best jazz drummer of this generation!!

  • Thanks for stopping by and the tip on Keith Carlock. I'm going to look him up as well :)

  • Awesome drummer, awesome technique, but he suffers from the same problem a lot of good drummers have. When he plays a solo it sounds like he's stringing a bunch of licks together with no sense of flow. I still think Keith Carlock is more fun to listen to (more musical to me)....but that's all subjective. Antonio still deserves to be mentioned with ALL of the greats.

  • @kage1974 Sanchez style is like a poem that does'nt rhyme, Carlock is like a poem that rhymes .. 2 different styles, yet both very powerful ..
