Man I am tiring of Stefan - please make this the Adam vs. the Man show again and not the Adam vs. Stefan show every time I watch. Seriously Adam. It would be a better show with 50% less Stefan. What are you contractually obligated to have him on all of the time or something? We need to see some people with both feet on the ground...
if you believe there is time to make change locally that means you have not participated locally to see that it has been co-opted. And what result would you seek outside that? They will not let you change the system from without, by force or otherwise. And believe me, shit at the top will not go bad, they will leave that for you, they will remain intact. And I did mention other choices, but they lead to the same end. I am not presenting a false dilemma, I am pointing out the end game.
Look at my original statement, I am saying action is required. Either change the system or vote against it, but an action is required. If, miraculously, no one voted, guess what? They would appoint someone. Then what?
If, people vote for more of the same, they are getting an appointed figurehead. What's an option? Inaction, protest or rebellion...all of which will lead to dictatorship, our present course. So what is the alternative? Not everything is as black and white as you think.
If you are looking for a philosophical debate on the ethical issues of voting,look elsewhere, I already stated that I agree with your position. The point is that there is finally a candidate NOT chosen for you that has a chance of winning and holds the closest possible position to your own in the political world. In a sense you are telling the system you want less of it. My point is that it is time for action, vote or not, inaction is acceptance of a much worse system to come.
It is one thing to adhere to your beliefs and choose inaction during sane times, that is not today. To put it plainly, in an analogy: You are a pacifist during time of war. You have sought refuge but the enemy draws near. Inaction will result in death, what is required is a fight or flight response yet you would seek discourse where there is none. You can agree with my summation or not, but it really is your last chance to take action, whether it be a show of hands, or of force, or...
No, you are not making sense. I agree with your political standpoint in essence but at some point there is a line that is crossed, that line is the next election. If you do not show those idiots that you have woken up, then you had better be ready to change that system or you will never have a chance again. This is a last ditch effort, it's pretty clear. As much as the system is a sham, at present they maintain an illusion for their benefit, once that need is gone...so is your chance.
Are people awake or what??... Can't you see how obvious this is?... The guy on the right, is giving his 'opinions' out of fear... He knows government is a scam and the system is completely falling away and he clearly hasn't fully woke up to his self empowerment... Stefan is speaking from an understanding, these aren't his opinions!... It's truth. Government, and the illuminati that dictate their moves, are ON THE WAY OUT!!!!... It's time for us to step forward. Spread love yall xx
Stefan Molyneaux doesn't have much of an argument. YOU HAVE TO START SOMEWHERE, and Ron Paul is where you start. He is opening up minds, curing apathy and bringing back common sense. So Stefan is saying Dr. Paul shouldn't even bother running, nothing is going to change anyways. Pah-Leeze.
@turboteabag08 The political process is a process of violence. You can't force people into freedom. That is what Ron Paul supporters are trying to do and as Stefan pointed out, it can't work. Why? You can not force people into freedom.
@turboteabag08 This segment is not the entirety of Stefan's argument, so to simply dismiss him as "not having much of an argument" during a 5 minute clip is, not really an argument either. So what is Stefan's solution, given that he rejects political action (and rightly so) ? Very briefly stated, it is 1) Pointing out that there is a gun in the room, over and over, and 2) Peaceful, non-violent parenting.

I can't stand watching someone and their eyes are going all over the place. Hard to trust a man that looks like he's lying.

I'd sooner trust a guy with two first names then a guy who mispronounces his own name... Stefan instead of Steven?

@threepercenter03
He is Canadian, a mixed country of British and French. That is his given name and the given spelling, an alternate would be Stephane or Stephan.

Jake, democracy is an illusion. Elections are just a theatrical display to give the plebes a false sense of control over the dominating empire.

The Tea Party that is in the Whitehouse besides Ron Paul are fascist Neo-cons regardless of branding.
As correct as Stepfan is about the "gun in the room", until you can change the system, you need to vote for the best most sane candidate.
