How is NCLB working out for us? He isn't proposing that we don't educate people, he is advocating that we allow the states to handle education, that responsibility is outside of the realm of the Federal Govt. per the Constitution.

acutally, there a mistake here. When Ronald Reagan became preisdent in 1981, the national debt was 1 trillion dollar. Reagan just both cut and raised taxes, without cutting spending. The only thing Reagan tried to cut, was Medicare. Under Eisenhower, the wealthy paid 91% in income tax. Nixon it was 70% in the 70s the richest 1% controlled 8% of the wealth. Today: 35%. In the 70s, The CEO of a company use to make 30x than the avg. worker. today: 350.
