  • RIP Jack

  • That arm drag is perfection

  • Hey Dragon did you know that Ricky Steamboat said on his DVD that the armdrag he does so well & famous he actually got it from Jack Brisco?

  • This is great, but missing a very important one -- the Fireman's Carry. Very basic move, but Jack was sudden with it.

  • Dragon, you could make a short video on John Cena called the Top Five Moves of John Cena-he must be great to turn a fireman's carry into a finishing move.

  • Jack Brisco was the NWA World's Heavyweight Champion on January 10, 1975.

  • damn these idiot are so damn ugly i am going from htere

  • whos the guy he does the belly to back suplex to

  • Giant Baba

  • Dragon speaking of The BRISCO Brothers, who do you think would win a feud: The Modern Day Briscoes or The Briscos if the Briscos were in their prime

  • RIP my old friend.

  • How can you make a list of Jack's top 10 moves and not include his Fireman's carry ? That, along with the figure 4 was his favorite.

  • does he have any relation to this brisco brothers, the Roh tag team champs

  • Nope. Actually, Jay and Mark spell their last name with an E at the end.

  • @TheSuicidalDragon and in fact, it's only a gimmick name as Jay and Mark's real surname is Pugh

  • @barrychuckle55555555 ROH's Briscoe Brothers use the name as sort of a tribute to Jack and Jerry, the Brisco Brothers.

  • R.I.P.

  • Brisco was great. I always liked him in team with Gerald. Died way to soon.

  • r.i.p jack

  • RIP Jack. The world's a worse place now.

  • Another great wrestler bites the dust :(

    R.I.P.

  • R.I.P Oklahoma Cyclone.

  • RIP Jack Brisco

  • Giant Baba really sold the Shinbreaker very well!

  • i like his style of the figure four

  • Hell Yeah, me too!

  • I think the move he perfected more than others was the Pittsburgh Platter.

  • Jack had a beautiful dropkick.

  • Great video! Brisco really seemed to handle Baba although I think Baba once took the title from him...

  • Indeed he did. He won it back in a rematch, however. All in all, Brisco created some history with Baba, making Baba the first Asian to hold the NWA World Heavyweight Title, as well as the first match to become a two time NWA World Heavyweight Champion since Lou Thesz, defeating Baba to claim that honor.

  • Another legendary wrestler that I've been sleeping on despite being knowledgeable about his career. Briscoe's Backslide was like butter.

  • I always LOVE watching the legends in their prime, doing what I love doing. Jack was always underrated and very rarely is discussed as a great champion. People rather flock to Flair all the time.

  • Or some Fans Might've Paid More Attention to His younger brother Gerald and rarely took any notice of him..

  • That's because Flair had a good personality and sells well. I'm sure people back then loved Jack but Ric Flair is more modern. In ten years everybody will be talking about HHH or Shawn Michaels instead of Flair and we'll be saying the same crap.

  • Interesting set-up to the Russian leg sweep . Like it .

  • that was a really nice backslide, even today, backslides as nice as that a very fucken rare......

  • He had on nice looking dropkick. And that was a smooth transition into a backslide that I have ever seen.

  • You mean Giant fucking Baba? Who, as much as I like Andre, did more in his career and is a much bigger cultural icon, and also widely regarded as one of the best bookers of all time. Especially when he finally retired.

  • That's Giant baba, a better wrestler then andre.

  • I find it funny that alot of the old school wrestlers used the Figure Four Leglock.

I guess it was a simple yet, great move to use on anyone.

  • That kneedrop hurted. Are you going to mkae one fro Gerald?

  • Probably not, no. For being the more famous brother, Gerald never really did what his brother did in terms of traveling the world.

  • Dragon, Jack Brisco has always been one of my favorites along with Harley Race and of course Bruno Sammartino. I guess Flair must have drawn more money to be the 275X World's Champion--but I think he is overrated.

I am just sorry Jerry "sold out" to Don Vinnie and his brother got a lifetime job as stooge #2 in WWE; stooge #1 is of course Pat Patterson. i guess Johnny Ace is stooge #3.

  • As odd as it is, when I was watching Jack's stuff in preparation for this video, I found a ton of parallels with his and Flair's careers as NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Very odd, if I may say so.

  • I think of Flair as the Trish Stratus of men's wrestling--he was very over--a front office favorite--and very overrated.

I give Flair this: he took a lot of mean bumbs in his time and shed a lot of his own blood. But, to me, as Bruno Sammartino has said, you seen one Ric Flair match you have seen them all. I think Jack was one of the smoothest wrestlers I have ever seen--he and Lou Thesz. I do not know as much about puro as I do joshi but I do love Kenta Kobashi and the Great Muta.

  • @RPenta Flair is not someone who comes to mind when thinking of "front office favorites". It doesn't matter if he was repetitive to you or anyone else- he got a reaction every time he did something and that's good enough- you probably shouldn't listen to Sammartino and read between the lines when people like that say those things instead of subscribing to them.

  • Many wrestlers would disagree with you (not just Bruno or Iron Sheik)--Bret Hart and Scott Steiner also--of course, Flair has gone out of his way to take shots at Bruno and Bret. "People like that", eh? I would rather listen to Bruno than to you. I have seen many of his Flair's matches and he was repetitive--he also was so far up Don Vinnie, HHH, and HBK's ass it is not funny.

  • @RPenta He's gotta do what he's gotta do. He learned rocking the boat sometimes get you fucked over if you don't have any power. Regardless of what you, or Bruno Sammartino- who finished his last days off not at a WM to a packed house, he's still a legend. People have opinions but Ric is also a legend. I don't find any of his matches repetitive because the emotional pulls overrides any "moveset" complaints smarks like you have.

  • Well, WWE mark, Bruno Sammartino was retired by the time WM came into existence; guess since you are not a smark you do not know that; furthermore, when Flair and Hogan had their much vaunted program in the early 90's it bombed. I am quoting wrestlers who are generally well respected by fans and wrestling writers--in other words, people who unlike you know what they are talking about--not irrelevant. I also don't like asskissing backstabbers like Flair.

  • What's with all this backstage heat talk? What happened to just keeping it based on ring work and charisma? I've never talked to Flair so I make no opinions about his character.

  • Read his book and check out his HOF speech; lot of stuff on the net about heat he had with Bruno and Bret and his asskissing.

  • @RPenta Also, I don't care what "many wrestlers" say or that you have seen "many" of Flair's matches. Sometimes tells me you just have a fanboy vendetta against Ric for not being a "moveset" work machine and because Sammartino and Bret don't like him. :P Such a flimsy argument that is irrelevant.

  • Keep the debating civil.

  • @RPenta If you actually pay attention everybody in the wwe these days is repetitive, It's like they sign a contract and Vince says ok pick out 5 moves and do them every match
