Coniks and sublinejen im with u. We didn't have ASL classes in high school but I ended uo around a deaf community later on and didn't know much ASL so I had to learnd from them and classes at the colleges. People don't take the time to learn the deaf culture these days because everything is technology now
Good to see some high schools teach this, not enough find it necessary or worth the while. I was just excited to go to a college to find ASL. We can't always have a pen/paper to communicate.
ur last sign in was 8 months ago... i see plz asap when u log in plz lemme know, ill be waiting the owrd from u even if it takes 80 years-"well i hope not" 3 minutes from now woiuld be better but PLZ!
@kenneth1516 Do you really think they'd tell you? The channel is probably managed by the ASL Teacher at Gilbert High. They probably only go on once a year, to upload new videos of the students signing. Like, for real. Yuehh is really dummb.
i will say the same as the others did, more eye contact. but other than that i thought it was great. i just started learning ASL myself so i got only a few words. with the song of course it was easier for me to also understand the other signs
it's okay nad maybe even normal to be scared when you start interpreting but don't let it stop you from trying. remember eye contact. Great choice of song.
You know the sign, dont be so afraid of letting the emotions come out, its part of interpreting. Your vocabulary is obviously great, so feel the words and act them out and you'll be great!
This is true. I just started interpreting a few months ago and the first thing my friend told me was "signing is just like singing without saying the words. it's okay to sign a song without facial expressions and everything but what makes a signing interpretation great is the combination of signing and facial expressions so DON'T BE AFRAID to show emotions." what i do a lot of times when i am signing is i will close my eys when i start the song to get into "character" n then i do fine.
