I personally think Google Sketchup generates the worst mesh structures of any program, but hey, if you can use it efficiently, it's not all that bad. It's great for stuff like this.

naturally it isnt anywhere as mighty as what ever CAD stuff you might be using, just as Google Docs is just as hopeless compared with InDesign, never the less, even a tapeworm can make sense of it within minutes. so it depends what youre looking for doesnt it?

and googles idea behind this is that anybody can build 3D objects for Google Earth. same goes with the new AppInventor vor Android.
