It turns out that the guy playing Tony Clifton is comedian Erik Mackenroth who also seems to be the poster of this vid. He was good enough to fool me into thinking that it was Jim Carrey, so good job!
Its probably just someone else, I'm sure there's a lot of people who do Tony Clifton these days, but I doubt it was one of the few originals. It didn't sound like a big crowd.
Yes, bradoyler, YOU are terrible! For not appreciating how funny this clip really is! The whole point of Tony Clifton's act is to be "terrible", but to do it in such a way that makes it hilarious. At first glance, an unknowing person could actually believe Clifton to be a real person, not an act, which is another credit to Kaufman's comic genius. Perhaps "Dukes of Hazard" is more to your liking.

This is a funny clip and I'm a former purist so the fact that it's not Andy Kaufman doesn't bother me. It's just damn funny.
