i think its funny how about 3 years ago when this guy was stll new to the league and i would watch him and say that this guy is going to be huge in the future. @markuskentwood gretz was 180 at the end of his career. when he was younger pretty sure he was like 160 170. also dont forget pat lafontaine man or doug gilmour both were listed at 5'10 170 175. Giroux has the hands and knowledge forsberg had, but only misses the physical aspect and thats because he is a buck 70.

Holy shit, do Flyers fans have something special here. The guy reminds me of Forsberg. Very underrated all-around player. One of my new favourites.

We should really be worried about our d. If Pronger goes, we're done. Timonen can't carry the load like he used to, Carle is a lost puppy without Pronger, Meszaros will be good, but not carry the d, Coburn is inconsistant, Bartulis and Lilja? Forget about it!

Giroux is probably the most underrated player in the NHL. When he is playing good he plays at or almost at the level of Crosby,Ovie,Malkin,Nash,Datsyu­k and all the other great names of the NHL.
